Begginer's Guide to starting eclipse [Included portfowarding and screenies :)]

There have been many guides on eclipse but even though useful, I thought this guide might help too! It's included portfowarding and a hamachi guide if no-one can portfoward!

**Step One - Downloads**
To unpack eclipse, you must have winrar. You can find it at [www.win-rar.com](http://www.win-rar.com) If that is a deadlink, google it!

After them..

Now thats thats done, create a folder of desktop with your game name!

**Extracting And Setting Up Folders**

Now, after you downloaded the game files, it should come up with this
Now, click on client and click the big extract to

Then a window should open up. Go on desktop, find your game's folder, click it once and click ok!
Then do the same with the server folder.

**Playing with the game for the first Time!**

Now, go on your desktop and open up your game folder! Go in the server folder. It should look like this below. Double click the server application (The one with the green E Icon)
A little loading screen should come up like this
After it's loaded, you should see this
Leave that window minimized. It will still be open as a logo in bottom left of screen (Near the clock)
Now go in your client folder and click the client application
This should come up!

Your server status should say online!
Then click new account.
This window should come up:
Enter your desired username and password, then click Create new account.
Then you should be redirected back to the main screen. Then click login and enter the details you entered on the registration screen. Then this should come up
Ok, if you want to start editing straight away, here's a little guide beneath!

**Editing Your Game**
First, It's time to give you character some power! Go to your server folder, click on accounts and click on your account name. Change your Access to 4, then file > Save

Then wait for about 2 mins, then restart server and client. (2 mins because client has to update changes)

Then on the client, press f1 and you have your command center. You can find another tut about editing because this is only a basic tutorial!

Hamachi Or Ports?

I'll help you with the choice shall I?
With hamachi, anyone who wants to use your game has to download hamachi first and join your server.
Portfowarding is the harder, but better option. And it is required you know your modem details.

I'll Do Hamachi first...

**The Hamachi Guide**
Click the following link:

Then click download. Once it is downloaded follow the step by step guide. Once it's installed all the nesscary bits, heres how to use it!

Click the power button to turn it on

Then Choose your nickname, click create, then it will probe for a sec. Then it should look like this!
The red part which I blotted out is your hamachi IP. Write it down as you will need it in a sec!

Now to create your first network! Click the triangle like icon

Then click create new network. This should come up:
Make your pass something easy like 123 so people can easily join!

Now, open up client and click configure. Enter your hamachi IP (The number that was at top of hamachi window) Make sure you enter it exactly so it works properly.

Put your port as 90

Then go to Server > Data and change Port:4000 to port:90

Now you have made a hamachi network!
Note: Don't forget to leave the hamachi details on your website somewhere or people won't know the details to join!

And thats my guide. I hope it came in handy. I took about 2 hours doing all the screenshots and writing this out so please don't make cruel or harsh comments as I am trying to help people for their benefit :)
