ok So modern games have been becoming more and more popular but with all thous bad and good tile sets. There was no real Modern "Bar"  to reach so lots of maps have been a mess and been put down the fellow Eclipsers. so this is going to have to "Dos" and the "Do nots" to moder maping …

Do ... Find a Stile for your game
ive seen it too many times people just grab every tile set that says modern on it and shoot it in to there game.

Don't ... mix the Defalt Eclipse tiles With your new Tiles
it looks bad and makes the player confused

Don't ... use thous Resized pictures as tiles
Some things don't look good 2d like if you find a building and it has no roof or any roof that you could put on it. don't use it.

Do ... Take your time with mapping
Taking your time can pay off in the end remember quality not quantity

Do ... Add animations
animations can be tricky  some times to find a good one but nothing makes a good Ruble map feel Better then a Building engulfed in flames

Do ... if you are making a large based world game use "World tiles" to map
This will make traveling funner and less boring for the player
and it makes more sense

ok so thats all i can think of right know but ill show you some maps i made with some tile sets i organize and will attach to the bottom of this post mmk
