Buff Spells and Custom Player. I really need help T-T

I looked for ALL the topics here, but there's no one that can help me, so I decided to post this.

I wanna make Buff Spells (rising str, def, hp, for a certain time), I know it's possible(I've seen in someone game [Kreator I guess]), but I dunno how to do them T.T

And I would like to know if it's possible editing the Custom Character system, 'cause now if the player tick Male he can choose Female sprite pieces, and if the player tick Female he can choose Male sprite pieces >_< I wanna make them divided, how can I do it?

Please help me T.T I got some good idea for my game but I need help with scripts T_______T
