In games would you rather see:Congratulations, you have reached level 2, 200,000 more experience to go until level 3;OrCongratulations, you have reached level 2, 200 more experience to go until level 3Obviously, the second choice.Lower the Experience values, it will benefit you (Less math to do), and your players (Illusion of quicker levels).
