dlom
how about animated arrows?there would be two animation frames, frame 1 and frame 2…there would be an "Animated Arrows" checkbox on the create arrow menuthere would be an AnimatedArrows.bmp file in the GFX file that looked like this...________________________|__|__|__|__|__|__|__|__| <-- awful artwith the first square being the first frame of the up arrow, and the second square being the second frame of the up arrow, the third square being the first frame of the down arrow, the fourth square being the second frame of the down arrow, etc.
Guest
If an arrow is traveling fast why would you need an animation? You wouldn't be able to tell it was animated. Unless maybe you had like a ribbon or flag on the arrow.
dlom
what i mean is like an axe being tossed, and it spines through the air, etc.
Tameric
I second this. Multiple frames for Arrows would be pretty good, as a lot of people don't just use arrows, but things like Boomerang (Zelda: A link to the past reference), and things like Bombs; animating the lit fuse as well as them spinning around as they're tossed, and fire Kunai type. I've always thought it was kind of weird to throw a Shuriken and it didn't even spin. Looked kind of awkward. There should also be a On Contact animation. For things that explode and such. Skell
I like the idea too, I could use it for spellcasters who have a ranged normal attack and such.
Irhymer
nice idea. i was just thinking this for my windmill shuriken (huge) spinning through the air… :P
