Guest
**A Beginners Tutorial: Chapter 1**Lets get started.First off, lets get your client and server set-up.First, go into ur SERVER folder. Go into the Data file.Change your game name to what ever you like, leave it alone if you havent thought of one. Exit your data file.Scroll down and double click your server folder. Wait for it to load, minimize it.Then go into your CLIENT folder and double click your client and hit create account, then log in with the same info. Create a character. Now you must give yourself access, go into your server again and click Players, then click the player online (you) and give urself 5 acess. Now map, hit F1 and Edit map. just to test it out.Save it by hitting save.Exit the map. Go into your classes folder and edit them to your liking. For more than one, copy and paste and rename them. Then get your client back up and map some more. Hit properties to name them, etc. Remember to use blocks and attributes.During this you might want a GUI, get a GUI artist, I suggest Slym, Devogen, Stingray, or zombiehour. Keep mapping. Show the public what you have so far. Then look for a team, to get your server online your going to need to portfoward.Follow this,http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php/topic,26187.0.htmlThen send your client to your staff! Map, Sprite, and have fun! Any questions ask me! PM please!Note = This GUIDE IS FOR NEWBS! OBVIOUSLY FOR NEW PEOPLE!
