OK, I know there are ALOT of port fowarding tutorials, but alot of them doesn't make sense to me, and some other people too, so I'm making another port fowarding tutorial to help out newbies. (The best port fowarding tutorial's pictures are blocked for me  )

ALRIGHT HERE WE GO
INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Open up your start window
![](http://i699.photobucket.com/albums/vv360/russell32896/p1.png)
2) Type in CMD at the place where I circled red, OR if you don't have the handy searchbar I have at the bottom, go to "RUN" and type in CMD
3)After it has poped up a window, type in ipconfig like how I did it, than press the enter key
![](http://i699.photobucket.com/albums/vv360/russell32896/p2.png)
4)ALOT of things should pop up, but you can ignore them exeapt for one!! And that is the default gateway I have circled in this picture
![](http://i699.photobucket.com/albums/vv360/russell32896/p3.jpg)
5)Now type the default gateway into a new browser (its the place where you type in www.google.com and stuff)
![](http://i699.photobucket.com/albums/vv360/russell32896/p4.png)
6) NOW!! It should ask you for you're username and password, at default you're user and password should be:
Username: Admin
Password:
or
Username: Admin
Password: Admin
(If these two doesn't work, than you should tell your dad or look up you're username and password or else port fowarding won't work for you at ALL)
7) Now you should see something Semi-to this (yours can be different but all have the same tabs like "security" or "gaming and applications" etc.) Now go to the security part
![](http://i699.photobucket.com/albums/vv360/russell32896/p5.png)
8) Now make your security part like mines (Exactly like it)
![](http://i699.photobucket.com/albums/vv360/russell32896/p6.png)
9) Now go to gaming and application part and it should look like this:
![](http://i699.photobucket.com/albums/vv360/russell32896/p7.png)
10) Now these are what you have to CHANGE and NOT change:
APPLICATION: Put in a title, name whatever, doesn't matter and won't affect the port fowarding

START to END: (look at my image and do what I did)

PROTOCOL: Both

IP Address: (look at the image and do what I did but your server probablly has another number)

ENABLE: Check the box

![](http://i699.photobucket.com/albums/vv360/russell32896/p8.png)

11) You're almost there!!! :)  Now go open up your server, go to controls panel, and click on "Check Ip Address" and you should be taken to IP CHICKEN![](http://i699.photobucket.com/albums/vv360/russell32896/p9.png)

12) Last step!!! Now open up your client, go to IPCONFIG, and then on the server IP, put in the number given from IP CHICKEN and put in the port given by the server
![](http://i699.photobucket.com/albums/vv360/russell32896/p10.png)

THERE! You're DONE!!!

The best port fowarding tutorial i've seen  :azn:
Problem is when your ip address changes the other people playing the game need to change the ip address setting.I think you need some No-IP thing so that they can stay connected even if your IP address changes.
