**Advertising

Refrain from advertising other websites or games via the Shoutbox, Status Updates, Forum posts, or any other mean without first speaking to Link and becoming an affiliate.

**Eclipse Etiquette

Insulting an Eclipse member anywhere on the forum, foPr any reason will not be tolerated. This includes: Taunting, flame-baiting, abusive behavior, backseat moderating, trolling, disrespecting staff, arguing with a staff’s moderation decision, inciting drama, unconstructive criticism, and any other action deemed unsuitable for the forum by staff.

_1^st Offense: Verbal or Written Warning.

_2^nd Offense: Three Day Ban.

_3^rd Offense: One Week Ban.

_4^th Offense: Permanent Ban.

**Mimicry

Creating accounts or altering your name to impersonate another member of the forum. This includes both staff and members alike.

_1^st Offense: Permanent Ban

**Multiple Accounts

Making more than one account will result in both accounts being permanently banned. This is especially true when a member is trying to avoid a previously standing ban.

The only exception is contacting a staff member to “start anew.”

_1^st Offense: Permanent Ban for All Involved Accounts.

**Offensive/Illegal Content

Refrain from posting any type of material with a sexual nature, be it explicit, implied, or suggestive. This specifically includes using vulgar language, excessive profanity, sexist statements, racist slurs, and derogatory remarks. For the safety of our members do not post .exe files in the shoutbox. Also keep from linking illegal downloads/torrents anywhere on the forum.

_1^st Offense: Verbal or Written Warning.

_2^nd Offense: Three Day Ban.

_3^nd Offense: One Week Ban.

_4^thOffense: Permanent Ban.

**Plagiarism

Taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off as one's own.

1^st Offense: Permanent Ban after Careful Staff Review.

**Spamming

Refrain from posting disruptively in the forum and the shoutbox.

This includes: intentionally derailing a topic, thread hijacking (posting in another individual’s thread to redirect the focus on to you), multi-posting (responding directly beneath your previous post multiple times), necroposting (replying to a topic that has had no activity for over 60 days), repeating a word/phrase in swift succession, typing in all capital letters, and any other disrupting behavior deemed inappropriate by staff.

_1^st Offense: Verbal or Written Warning.

_2^nd Offense:  Shoutbox Ban for Three Days.

_3^rd Offense: Shoutbox Ban for One Week / Post Moderation One Week.

_4^th Offense: Permanent Ban from Shoutbox/Posting.

**Chain of Command

1.   If you have a grievance with a Shoutbox Moderator’s actions; send a pm to a Global Moderator about your concerns and include any material that would help.

2.   If you have a grievance with a Global Moderator’s actions; send a pm to an Administrator about your concerns and include any material that would help.

3.   If you have a grievance with an Administrator’s actions; send a pm to another Administrator about your concerns and include any material that would help.**____****
