@ Soul he said he had the server open already.

Here is what you have to do. Go into Client>data>config.ini and look at the IP, make sure the IP matches your own. If you don't know your IP go here [http://ipchicken.com/](http://ipchicken.com/) copy the 9 diget number on the screen and past in in your config, where it says IP. Then look at the "Port" set that to 7001 if it is not already. After that try restarting the server then start up the client.

If you are trying to run the client on a differant computer ( A computer the server is not on. ) You need to forward your port. this can be done here ->[http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm](http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm)
Or just look here to see everything you need to do. [http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php/topic,68370.0.html](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php/topic,68370.0.html)

This is usually caused by:

1\. You have an anti-virus or firewall blocking Eclipse's access.
1S: Disable your anti-virus and firewall or add an exception to it.

2\. You have some random value as your IP.
2S: Go to /client/config.ini and make IP=127.0.0.1

3\. You haven't portforwarded correctly.
3S: If you don't know what it means; ignore this. If you do: www.portforward.com.
