After installing the library source and toying with the engine abit i realized that it dose not read or emit mp3\. Dose anyone happen to know of a extension or addon made for the EO engine to enable mp3 format? If so it would be much appreciated. thankies <3

If you used MP3s you'd need a Thompson Licence for around £15,000, so I wouldn't advise that.
.OGG might be useful for this.

Thankies for the advice, i can say i was aware of fees for using mp3 format, but wow thats expensive. Im not sure that the engine can read OGG ether, that leads me to question how will i get this format to work. I realy do appreciate your help guys, thankies alot.

Small thing: it's actually $15,000 per year, but only if you distribute more than a certain amount (5000?) copies.

But there's a tutorial for .ogg and for .mp3 (or you could rip them out of Crystalshire) in the Source Tutorials section.
