Hello,
I havent touched EO in several months and now I feel like going back to it. Though I got CS:DE again on my new windows 7 laptop. Some reason my visual basic program everytime I make an exe file makes an error saiyan, "Run-time error '449;: ActiveX component can't create object." This error is not because don't have the runtime files installed properly. I have done it completely correct and now I am stumped on what to do.
Inside VB6 I do get a debug error saiyan.
              "Set dX = New DirectX8"
Here is an image of the error.

Anyway, have you installed the _Crystalshire_ Runtime Files? It uses DirectX 8 so you have to install different files instead of Eclipse's Runtime Files.

There are two ways to download it. I [extracted it for you here](http://www.freemmorpgmaker.com/files/imagehost/pics/c2a6bf0f9cb7131e163ab63f3700a7a0.zip), but you could also download it by [downloading Crystalshire and running 'setup.exe'](http://www.crystalshire.com/downloads.php) (which is how I got it).

No that didn't solve the problem. Not sure why it woud react this way it's doing it to everything running on directx 8, thats based on mirage. Well thank you anyways.
