nilly70 Posted March 22, 2012 Author Share Posted March 22, 2012 Hey everyone To start off why im asking this I'll tell you what my problem is!When I added some new resources to a map my game froze so I closed it and I whent to reopen my server and runtime error 9 subscript out of range came up !luckaly Soul is helping me fix this problem but since he's offline I was going to askwitch one of these codes are bad .I was renaming my map to see witch one was broken since I have no idea what map I broke.and for some reason when I renamed it my PC made two maps for example (map1)plus(map1p) so I deleted map1p thinking it didnt matter.but I soon found out I deleted the map that looked like this | \ / :huh:and the one I cept looks like this the second picso I really need to know witch one is not useable or if it even matters because im lost lolsorry for the whole life story lol ;)looking forward to advice thank youNilly70 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ruins of Hell Posted March 22, 2012 Share Posted March 22, 2012 When the map file is renamed, the server creates a new file.Let's say you renamed map3.dat to map3p.dat.* You rename the file.* Server notices map3.dat is missing.* Server creates an empty map3.dat.* You open the map3.dat (you get a bunch of blanks, aside from some symbols which are added by the server by default).* map3p.dat still contains the original data.
