    Yeah the script I am using is similar but not the same. The difference is that it doesn't remove the Fringe2 Tile (that seems easy to fix)

    You don't have to write it from scratch I'll get it working hopefully. Still leave the option open just incase.

    Regarding the whole purple versus green thing. Sprite 3 and Sprite 4 for NPC's are built in with a purple and green style.

    We have a problem, two to be exact, the premade CTF script failed on me. I'm going to tell the maker. But I might not get a reponse for a long while. Second, there is no trap limit. I found the script in Admiral Script Index.
    However, except for those major problems. Everything running smoothly.

    Yeah, I will be working on this, I have a premade script and everything. The graphics are sweet. Regarding traps and gernades, I am working on it. I'm not going to promise you anything that I am not done with/completely sure I can do. But you can expect a fun CTF game. People chose a class/side when they start. The max level will be ten, experence will be given when a flag is captured and maybe even when a player is killed. In addition to Flag Battles, I will also add an arena for plain old PVP and maybe PVP boss battles (the objective is to kill the oppenents boss. Like said, I cannot promise anything.
  4. Hey, I'm making a CTF game and I need some sprites.

    Red flag
    Blue flag
    Trap tile (one of those teeth ones)
    Red Castle Wall
    Blue Castle Wall
    Gernades (sort of like an arrow sprite)

    This isn't sidescroller it's normal Eclipse so I need up down left right sprites
  5. The script I found is single capture Game Over and anyone who dies is out. I'm trying to edit some stuff to make this work differently (I'm bad at scripting don't expect anything.) One way would be to make two seperate class groups. I plan to make the whole game revolve around PVP CTF so
    EXP = rank. I also want to know whether or not I should make a lot of classes or just 3\. I don't think it is required to have so many.

  6. Ok for all the people who said "bad idea" delete your posts because I changed the topic/idea. Sorry TT but looks like we wont have a community game after all I will continue with a CTF promo for Eclipse though, as I already found a working quest script and got started.

    @Admiral, you went through all that just to prove that this was a bad idea. Wow, you must really hate the idea.
  7. With some searching, we can find the script. Then we make the YouTube video, and we can embed it on the website's Gerneral Page.

    @Robin "No." is quite vauge, what are you saying No to? I assume you me the idea of a community project.

    @Admiral Thanks for the postive support "But this will be different" I'm getting started with the mapping now, regardless. I'm just going to open it up once to make a video, then it's done.

    I'm going to post the maps, and use the normal tile set then put it  up for editing. This topic will be kept stable (or tried to). No more ideas, we have settled on a Capture the Flag theme. It is not to be changed, doing so will result in chaos. We will pick a basic map/tile set even the Eclipse Base Tile will work (excluding a flag that is)
  8. Ok I just tried this game. It seems pretty cool. Can we have a Capture the Flag? (not sure if you have it just started) it would give some cash as rewards and rarely a Ticket which can be exchanged for a rare item. Also, on the weekends you could make Double Gold Weekend which gives double the gold and doubles the chance to win a Ticket. Sounds like a really cool idea to me.
  9. TT that wouldn't require much effort. I like it. I think Capture the flag is a simple game that everyone will enjoy, the videos could be posted on Youtube for some easy players. We could also add a basic PVP area. And add a premade rank system/ticket system. We just advertise the game and use it to advertise Eclipse (put it in the MOTD or News area)

  11. We are making a CTF game. The idea and title changed due to flaming, sorry for everyone who liked it, we can still use it to promote Eclipse

    While making CTF game would be quite a hassle, I think it would be worth it because it may get more people. What do you think?
    If you have any ideas, views, want to help, sprites, scripts, etc. Please post.
