    So what evidence of God is there that the FSM would not also replicate? And isn't the whole point of faith to believe in something that doesn't have any evidence? If evidence is so important then why do you discount science so much?

    Answer each of these questions individually please.

    There's a book to prove it. Also, using your logic, we should believe in Shamanistic gods, not the Christian gods, if age and history are the most important factors.

    Since pastafarianism is the newest documented religion in the world, dont you think it's a little more up-to-date with current technology and understandings? I THINK SO!

    Ok, since I know many of you think that I'm joking, mocking, or trashing religion with this thread– **that is not the case.**

    I want to use this as a test. I want Helladen (or any Christian or religious person for that matter) to debate me on why the flying spaghetti monster doesn't exist, but their god does. Throughout this thread, I will pretend to believe in this flying spaghetti monster, and I invite other atheists to do the same. I will pretend that my life is devoted to the monster god, and that's all that matters.

    **Rules/Ideas for this Debate:**

    -Please do not disrespect the flying spaghetti monster because he is the supreme being who controls everything about our lives

    -I feel the presence of the flying spaghetti monster, so I know for a fact that he exists. You are wrong.

    I'm never understood any of you guys. I understand those who use religion as an emotion crutch, but people like you who try to justify it by fake science or "metaphysics"? Just shut up and enjoy everything that's beautiful.
