I asked this question before, but no-one helped, and I NEED help. If your game has working spells on NPCs and players then answer this post. Question: I made a spell on my game, gave it sound, a vital mod (whatever that is) of 50 or something, an animation and requirements. basically everything. But when I cast it on the lowest level enemy nothing happened. no error message, no damage, nothing. Does anyone know what I should do?

not much for me here though, as I already know music theory, which is basically what this is XD.

is eclipse stable eclipse evolution 2.8? because that is really really really glitchy. I used to use it. It looks better but still, the map jumps about when u move. So does this mean I cant use spells? becuase if thats so then my game is effed. and if spells dont work then eclipse programmers should be shanked.

Okay, I have 3 questions but as they are pretty much one and the same I thought I'd post them in the same topic: Question 1: do I have to download the source code to make quests/minigames? Question 2: If I have to download the source, does it mean I have to start my game again? Question 3: Is the source code in Sadscript or visual basic (or something else) Please answer any of the questions you can, or if you are able to answer all 3.

Hold on… But players wont know about the problem, wont think of turning the sound off, will get annoyed, log off and never return. However Ill just change the format and that might work. (turns out the files were MIDI instead of .wav)

How do players learn a spell? because I made 2 spells (lvl 1 and lvl 2), and my character was lvl 1, but the spell didnt appear in the spell menu. I then put my char to lvl 2 but it still didnt learn any spells. Am I doing something wrong?

How do u turn off sound?

I tryed to add some music and sound effects to my game and when it was supposed to play it said that it could not play and my computer did not have the codar required or I typed the URL incorrectly. It was not URL music. WHAT THE HELL HAS HAPPENED TO MY PC\ECLIPSE?. Does anyone know how to fix this?

S***!!!! I just pasted the sprites into the picture and tried to use them in the game but they were all weirdly aligned and they were half one sprite half the other. Did I do something wrong?

Thanx I can now do that! but I still need to know about the main menu image. Oh well.

Oh yeah, i forgot I also need to know how to use the GUI menus and ingames in the resources section.

Thanx guys i just realised eclipse evolution 2.8 is a later edition. LOL LOL ROTFLMAO ROFL. Unfortunately, though eclipse 2.8 evolution is better, it has cmpletely different GFX and such, so i guess ill have to re-design my game. Oh well, alls fair in love and war.

I am currently using eclipse 4.10, but it wont let me ad other classes and there appear to be (from my perspective) numerous problems. Should I use 2.8? is it any better?
