Ahh, I see. The idea isn't bad but I think it's just the shape that doesn't feel natural to me. I guess I have to see some more tiles in a little example map to fully rate the style you are going with.

Is that a platform or a hole with grass around it? It doesn't seem as if you put alot of work into that… But as you said, this is an early example. I hope that I see them in a different light once they are finished.

Looks like a pretty solid eclipse-project. Not too overambitious and yet unique enough. I like that you didn't choose the exact same classes as everyone does and that you put some thought into it.
Are those class-images made by yourself?
Good luck,

I guess you are misunderstanding each other. Of course this feature is SOME SORT OF pet system. But no pet system that has been written and one that has way more and distinguishible (just trying to sound smart, idk if that is spelled correctly) features. Of course you can still call it a "pet system" but as it sounds it will be nothing comparable to what you can see as tutorials etc. on here. What I personally expect is a smarter AI for your dragon and many interaction possibilities (I would like to see even useless stuff like chatting with your dragon about recent fights etc.).
I wish you good luck on finding people to work with you. If this was not in eclipse I would definately write you a pm, because I personally like your idea (Maybe I am interpreting too much though).

@Spiral: The problem of some newer members seems to be that they partially just chat in topics. Stuff like "Lol, cool idea!", "Sorry didnt see that" alone makes no useful post actually. If you want to have smalltalk you can use the pm function. -
How can it be that people still call Miguu "Minguu" ? :D
Anyways, I trust in the decisions you make as Lostica has not disappointed me in the past (Well, the lack of updates & Your slow pace maybe).
I hold back on shitstorming till I get to play this ;)
Keep on going!

Looks awesome & Professional. I always want to comment but my comments always turn out just praising your work, so…. Good job & Keep going!

Why don't you just google "Switch in c++" ?
Searching & Learning on your own is definately a required skill for programming.

I would personally prefer a more comic-like look (the last screen looks better) if you don't want to spend the rest of your life modeling. Otherwise, low-poly models just don*t look good I think. Good start that you got there and since I loved the work and detail you put into Ambardia I expect something great!
Good job, good luck,

I feel like that raindrop-effect would look much better with some translucency (if that is even spelled right). Other than that this looks pretty damn good. Also I think the boss should atleast differ a LITTLE bit from the other mobs :)
Definately going to test this,

That sounds like it will turn out exactly like I want it to. :,)
The secrets should include some legendary weapons which you can find!

> if there is interest!
I definately am interested :)
Any new stuff in the older areas aswell?

As far as I know there is no vb6.net . Prospekt.net is based on visual basic.net which will probably be supported in future windows releases.

I was joking… Because "And many more" is basically what everyone writes who doesn't know what else is a special feature in his game and thinks that the list is too short.
Just wanted to point out that your feature-list basically only contains around 50% features. Didn't want to insult you or anything, but like everyone else here I try to guide you into the right direction. I had some eclipse projects and I've seen alot of them and as it stand now: Noone would want to play this (With noone I mean a maximum of 6 players online at any given time). But I think I already told you most of that in your first WIP-Topic.

Edit: Btw, the reason why I appear to be so "harsh" is that you don't seem to listen to people giving you constructive criticism. -
What makes me want to play your game the most is definately your great ideas on monsters and evolutions. Who doesn't hate it when a Pokemon evolved and just looked shittier? The monsters so far look REALLY great and epic.
Can't wait to see more,
-seal -
I guess everything has been said, except that your feature-list is also a bit funny.
> Epic Quest = no feature
> Lvl Up until lvl 120 = no feature
> Pet = a feature!
> More Maps = no feature
> Fishing,trees and mining = features!
> Dungeon and instances = features!
> buying hairstyle = nothing worth mentioning
>
> Enchanting = a feature!
> And many more = like… walking, fighting, monsters?
I think you should work out your project alot more and try to understand what makes YOUR game special (or may make it special).
Good luck.

Is there no "\n" for new line in c++ ? I think that would make your life easier :D
I'm doing C for university right now and don't know too much about c++ but as you can use C in C++, I think that would be possible.
Somehow I like using scanf() and printf() way better. The way you did it with cin and cout just doesn't look as clean.
I also asked myself why you only print out the result when it is positive, as substraction can easily create a negative result and why wouldn't you show that to the user? It's always fun to make the best out of your learning projects and it might give you a better attitude for later, bigger projects.
Anyhow, nice little start (nothing worthy showing off but meh, good that you are motivated ;D)
keep on learning!

Wow, it totally surprised me that there are actually people who LIKE eclipse's battle system (Richy you crazy guy :D)
I would totally have said "Good combat mechanics". And with that I mean the total opposite of what eclipse has to offer right out of the box.
Good combat mechanics and a LOT of different gear pieces make most of the fun for me. Looting&Leveling is what I want from an ORPG. And that in a fun way.
I don't care for story at all, because it is kinda hard to feel special when killing the same stuff that soo many others have already killed. Good quests and good party functionality (Or guilds, guild battles etc.) are the cherry on top for me.

That's really cool, I don't know unity but still this must've taken alot of effort to create, good job!
Something that I would personally love to have would be support for some sort of split-screen coop. If you could connect 2 controllers and play self-created missions on your home tv, that would be awesome for me. I don't know if that is realistic though. Anyhow, keep on going man!

Looking good for people who just want to have some fun developing stuff in a 3d environment, cool!
What I would like to know is:
- Did you program it all by yourself?
- What language and which libraries are being used?
- Is there scripting support ?
- What features are planned and how about an open source version (You could monetize this maybe)?
Good luck,

If I remember correctly, W.I.P. topics are not allowed without some proper content (Which this right here STILL doesn't have). We pointed out that there is clearly a lack of content in a more harsh way because Ryodan obviously has not taken the time to read anything or do very much before posting this. Does:
[http://www.eclipseorigins.com/community/index.php?/topic/58451-read-before-posting-in-work-in-progress/](http://www.eclipseorigins.com/community/index.php?/topic/58451-read-before-posting-in-work-in-progress/)
not apply anymore?
> When should you post your W.I.P.?
>
> It should be done after some planning has been, some sketches have been made and such things. You'll need some stuff for your audience to show, if you have barely anything done then don't post.
Anyhow, I wish you the best of luck with your project and I would recommend advertising a project when it is in a state where you would really like to have people's criticism on your **work.** Making a game that people actually get interested in is more work than you might be thinking. You need features that stand out and surprise people, cool graphics maybe(RPG-Maker graphics are okay but I have seen them many times and when I see them in a project it automatically lowers my expectations of the game), good maps and more! But I don't want to decrease your motivation because the progress of making a game is actually really much fun (at times not). And if you got something you can be proud of, making a good public presentation of it isn't much work since you really want to get it out there by then.

> Men i dont care what you're saying about
Why then are you even posting this in the first place? You should look at some stickies and maybe reconsider your attitude.
-seal -
Seriously? This needs like 10000% more work put into it. Please modify your presentation or delete this.

- The whole post overall is nothing special and I would describe it as mediocre at best. Imagine yourself reading & seeing all that. Would you be hyped or interested?
- While the mapping itself isn't too shabby, the map could still use some touch-ups on some of the plain areas, Also I never liked the lack of different trees, but that is a problem of the tileset almost everybody is using
- The classes? You obviously didn't really even try to make them special. Too standard in my opinion
- The GUI looks alright I think… nothing special or visually appealing though
- This is your presentation. You want to get people to like your game. Something like the first impression shouldn't be rushed.
I hope you can improve on that.
Good luck,
