To answer the "whining" Miyamoto liked the Windwaker (among other games) art style as opposed to the one in Twilight Princess. One of the reasons that was cited was that it was far too dark for how he saw Zelda ("the game"). Skyward Sword's impressionistic style is supposed to represent how he sees the game better. If you don't like it, don't buy it. IMO, it was a positive change, but I don't judge games negatively based on their art style. And yes the models are apart of the style. ;)

The sheer amount of stupid in your post has left me unable to respond in a reasonable manner to my own liking. Therefore I will not. Enjoy spending extra hours with your moronic trial and error lighting. :D I'll stick to building my structures so that light sources are included.  IMO if you had a 32x32x32 block of space I would build a chandelier or a lighted skylight.

Of course the game stops being remotely scary from the second you find the best way to kill each of the mobs. The endermen are no different. Avoid looking at them if you can, and if they're raging kill them or lead them to water. The latter of those is no different from a creeper.

Use a grey for morning, nothing for day, orange for dusk, a gray navy for early night, and a pure navy for night. I can't give specific argb values, but that should work.

I was implying that the notion of this video being propaganda is wrong. Which it is. I no longer get my news from American mainstream media because it's all the same bs with a slight slant to their target audience. Not being British I can't confirm that they are not doing the same thing, but in comparison at least their reporting is worth more as a whole. I lost all hope after a month of hearing about Charlie Sheen on every News channel I had.
