  1. @Jungle:

    > There are tons of these types of things on the interwebz just to let you know…

Oh look spam. <_< I was looking for a specific one. >_>

http://www.earslap.com/projectslab/otomata?q=2u2z5o6n35 For anyone like me and couldn't remember what it was called.
  2. Does anyone remember that diy music thing that was spammed around here some time ago? it was fun and I wanted to share it with some friends…. I'd just search to find it, but I can't remember what it was called.

It was the one with the moving boxes.... for whatever that helps.
  3. Flaws in your story. A- Never intended to make money, that was a recent change brought about by people insisting I should be more serious. B- Stop being butthurt you were fired. The way you've behaved since then only validates the reasons Wabbit pressed me to do so. C- Wabbit's brain is under developed, he can't even troll Asian kids right. He's kept in the basement for his own safety. >:3
  4. @Fluttershy:

    > I wasnt actually saying anon or someone actually should hack… I do agree with you Anna it actually just causes more trouble. I thought anon was a bunch of idiots hurting more people than helping when they went after sony and all that other stuff.
    >
    > What I was trying to get at was ddosing websites in the big scheme of things does little. Especially sites that dont really have any threat if they are there or not. Now ddosing say Youtube, or facebook would be more of an impact than ddosing the DOJ's site, but if anon or whoever actually caused a "REAL" disruption in one of those organizations way of doing buisness, then there might be more concern by that organization, good or bad.

This notion is further applicable in the realm of politics. Until someone does something disruptive enough then little attention will be paid. I still see SOPA passing in some form despite the largest congressional email traffic surge since god knows when. More than double the yearly average in a single day. At least more sheep are taking notice.
  5. There was talking of other things being added for exp. I wouldn't call it a true leveling system, it was just an exp ticker. I don't see too many "new' things being added to the game for a while. It's my understanding that they're getting a guy to help with AI and that they're going to clean up the sound code, but I don't have a lot of citation on hand about it.
  6. @Jungle:

    > Oh God, your social security argument again… I doubt you even understand where and how he falls on this issue. He wants to continue the benefits to the elderly because they already paid for it and it would be unfair, but slowly wants to cut off.
    >
    > The very fact that you abused a Federal grant to give blind people computers (the grant is COMPLETELY idiotic in my opinion) and then supported the grant just because you got a free computer is beyond me. The reason the government is bad shape today is because of greed across the board, from the people like you who abuse those grants to the corporations who lobby for them.

I underlined the most obvious parts here. The entire post is him accusing me of something when he didn't have any of his information correct. If he had any understanding of what he was talking about I doubt he would have confused federal grant money with a special state/federal provision (since the State and Federal governments get free and discounted computers/software anyway)

    @Jungle:

    > Now you bring that shit up? Before on HnH you kept bragging about it and now you're telling me that you actually DIDN'T abuse the system? It's not my fault if you didn't explain it well enough the first time.
    >
    > Also, I'm all for the government giving disabled people stuff that can help them come into society. 2 of my cousins have severe metal disabilities (one has down), another one of my cousins is a disabilities lawyer, while my uncle and aunt are def. My point is that I SUPPORT THIS STUFF, but on a LOCAL level and as long as it's not being abused like how I thought you were. My family isn't as lucky and well off as you think, although I admit that my close family (Father, Mother, Sisters) are in the upper class. If being in the upper class nullifies my arguments as well then you are only suppressing the minority.
    >
    > The reason I argue politics is because I want to learn more about it and be proven wrong. Telling me to "GTFO" is either paranoia or plain stupidity. I'm a kid who wants to be proven wrong, has points, and is willing to be exposed to the "outside world" as you call it. Challenge me and expose me to it-- don't just sit there and female dog about my age.
    >
    > Being a constitutional libertarian doesn't necessarily mean that I'm against all social programs. What it does mean is that I'm for state's rights and civil rights.

    Argument nulled.

P.S. The laptop I am using right now belongs to a federal employee and was completely free to them. ;)
  7. Nothing I've said has been a personal attack. Even the 'alleged' accusation that your age gave you no right to discuss this was proven accurate. Your age, life experience, and "position in life", really don't make you the best person to argue politics. Now perhaps you'd like to trade lifestyles with me for a while? I didn't think so.
  8. @DrNova:

    > I just lost my world, playing on hardcore mode, however I never managed to get a chicken coop going. There were just zero chickens anywhere remotely near me, and whenever I went far enough away to find some I just didnt have wheat on me, nor the patience to drag it back a mile or two home.

Yes, after obtaining pigs and cows, it's slightly beyond me to fetch a chicken too. Not to mention I've lost four wolves now on the trek back. Thank goodness there's not Hardcore mode on SMP, we'd be boned.
  9. Actually you are lying. You blew up at me on HnH when I tried to explain the Social security system to you. and you chose to make a personal attack at me over a second handed comment which is what started this. Following up with your "I want be disproved" rebuttal, you're just a kid looking for a fight on the internet.

You say I'm shutting out a minority, hate to tell you, but your minority is the people controlling everything.  Personally I'd rather not leave my fate to a physician (which is why he seems 'nice) turned economist and politician. He actually sounds quite a bit like Obama. The only difference is Obama made enough deals to get elected. As for my personal opinion of Paul?  He should have stayed in Congress, at least then he'd have a better chance of getting something done.
  10. I'll lay out what I see in simple words. I see a spoiled kid from DC who's mad that someone else got something for free because they have a disability. Now to him, I "abused" the system by removing the bloated magnifying software. This is a personal attack founded on ignorance and a pretty sad one at that. What did I do with the computer the nearly three years I had it? I took notes, I did school projects, I communicated with counselors and school faculty, I even used Map programs and campus websites to help get around. So who honestly wants to say I didn't use the laptop for what it was intended?

As for the so called researched argument. I had a room mate not too long ago who now has a degree in the subject. I learned that it doesn't matter what terms and classifications you throw around, because at the end of the day you're either running under the Right or the Left banner. My accusation was exactly what Jungle confirmed. He listens to his parents and makes his opinions based on that. At this point I would advise him to go meet some of the poor people of the country, and the people losing their jobs, and everyone who doesn't make above 100 thousand dollars a year and see where he stands.

The world's a fucked up place. I live off $7272 a year, because the only jobs where I live are fast food and delivery and I am not qualified to do either, and I would assume none of you would want me do either of those.

It's easy to throw around what you think you know, but Robin's right. Jungle you're very very luck that you aren't having to work two jobs to support your family right now. GTFO.
  11. @DrNova:

    > I always have a tough time finding large quantities of flint. I cant be bothered to keep stacking gravel just to hack it down in the hopes of getting some

I have found that if I just hack it down as soon as I get it I always have flint. I usually don't have feathers because I cbf to lure a chicken or two back for farming.
  12. @Winfield:

    > Oh–I see.
    >
    > Yeah. The only thing I really have that can compare to that is playing SSBM alone; none of my friends want to play _competitively_.

Nice. I just asked Wabbit if he would play this with me, as I've not played it and he responded "No, who does." I was let down a bit. I've heard the comparisons of it and minecraft, but I've never been one to not look into something myself.
  13. @Winfield:

    > Wha…?
    >
    > I'm not convincing you to do anything. I was trying to confirm with Jungle on whether or not he started playing Terraria with friends.

I know. I was making commentary in relation to what you were saying. I was meaning to imply that it's harder to get friends to play sometimes by using myself as an example.
  14. @Winfield:

    > So you're saying any of the other candidates are better since they (might) side with your views (when convenient)? You're right. I'm sold.

No, I don't see anyone who I side with enough to vote for. Between that and the fact that whoever has the most media buyout will most likely win I may not even vote. I understand what Robin's point about participation is, but my vote is a drop in the bucket compared to a vote in say California.
  15. @Winfield:

    > _Ad hominem_ fails to entertain once again…
    >
    > Let's not completely discredit Ron Paul because his views don't match up end-to-end with our own; the importance of Ron Paul and his campaign's entirety is all centered around his honesty and consistant views.
    >
    > He's no flip-_flopper_.

Wait, so you're saying I should vote for someone I disagree with because he seems like a nice and honest guy. lol no.

@ Robin, even the local governments are ran by the people with all the money. That's why the only thing my state has going for it the export of poultry products.
  16. @Winfield:

    > Did you start playing Terraria with a friend? I did. We loved it.

Convincing me to play a game with people is like convincing me to not pick pennies I find on the street.
