  1. So I haven't really been on Eclipse for a while, but I just logged on to see a completely different everything! It looks like Eclipse Origins has completely taken over and to be honest with you, I have no idea what I missed. Is SE still in existence? I don't really see any mention of it. What about EE 3.0? Somebody fill me in here 0.o
  2. @Zonova:

    > Headphones get old. The more expensive you get, usually the longer lasting they are. They just wear out.

Well I am just using random headphones I find around the house, so they very well could be old. I'm sure being stuffed in a garage for years in the heat of summer didn't help them too much either.
  3. Well, another one of my headphones started acting up today, thus making the 4th I've gone through 0.o
It's a bit odd. After maybe a month of use on my laptop, my headphones start only playing through one side. If I move the cable around a lot, I can get it to work, but even the slightest movement makes it start being this way again. For me, listening to sounds only through one ear is a very uncomfortable experience, so naturally I stop using them.
Now, however, I've gotten sick of it. I don't know if it's the laptop, what I listen to, or just all my headphones that I use, but they all seem to do this. Does anyone have any idea why this happens?

By the way, it isn't the actual headphone that starts malfunctioning. The jack that goes into the laptop seems to be the issue. Why though?
  4. Please, write a book on your adventures in making an MMO with Eclipse.

    In all seriousness, @Kasplant:

    > So, Imma start a game and I **needz a head programmer!**
    >
    > Of course, the head programmer will be **me!**

Then I guess you won't need one, will you?

Look, in all seriousness, tutorials go in the tutorial board and show-off goes in the show-off board.
  5. @DrNova:

    > How nice of them to just "happen" to have a backup made of your files.

    No doubt.

I don't care if it's in their TOS. They provide a service which means they need to, I don't know, SERVE YOU! Does Crazy Domains think they have a monopoly on the industry? They sure act like it.
  6. @Harris:

    > I have stopped using Ubuntu now. It's just a lot easier to use Windows. I don't mind it being slower.

Which makes this topic *ding* entirely pointless.

    > It's a really simple algorithm, and anyone with basic knowledge can reprogram this using the same libraries he did, with a little work.

Well why post it on eclipse if your not actually going to do it? Just saying.

    > I'm not exactly a sex addict… I would rather play a good video game...

Pssh, we're all sex addicts. That's how the human race survives.

I'd say you need to get laid, but… well... you know...

Did anyone even have to point that out?

    Anyway, my collection contains
    Ocarina of Time **(G&W)**
    Minish Cap **(3D0)**
    Windwaker **(VirtualBoy)**
    and
    Phantom Hourglass **(Turbografx CD)**
    @Anna:

    > Yeah actually when I first saw the Wii I wondered if there would be an interesting swordfighting game. So far it's just arcadish rail shooting and minigames for accessories. I mean come on everyone thought about swords and magic games when they firstsaw the Wii, I don't see why they haven't focused on that.

There's plenty of things the Wii can do that it hasn't been used for yet. I'm hoping we'll get a burst of innovative games for the Wii late in it's life span.
  10. I don't know, I found the game play stimulating and the world very versatile and well done. Sure, it's a grind, but most MMOs are. Unfortunately I couldn't afford the monthly charge. :/

What did you have to do with wine to make it work?
  12. @Chakkra:

    > Or you could just use Origins. It automatically detects how many tile sheets you have.

To hell with you Chakkra! Why must you always improve upon my lazy answers???
