I'm thinking about making some free custom GFX for a…. ZOO!
So what animals/buildings ect. do you think I should include?
And what sprite set should the sizes of the animals/buildings be based off of? The eclipse ones or Half-Kaizer ones?

I think it might have been Google, but I don't remember. I had been a fan of pixel art and indie games and when I stumbled upon this I fell in love :)
I lurked for a month or so as a guest and finally couldn't stand not being able to post so I joined. -

I didn't want it to have too much contrast because I wanted it to be a background object.
I know frames are usually faster, but I made it slower because it looks more natural for a bird. Most birds don't fling their head in a different direction every half second.

I have been practicing making some items and creatures and I decided to make a bird and put it on the clothesline. I animated it too! ;)
I want to make some free to use stuff but I don't know if I'm good enough yet.

Don't set yourself up to do what you aren't capable of. It leads to A LOT of failure. -

Tell him that the shading needs to be visible from the size that the image is actually going to be. Otherwise, shading is just a wast of time. -

I've tried a lot of Ftp games, but none have really stuck. I also don't understand all of the hype with Runes of Magic because I tried it and hated it.
I would love to play Lord of the Rings online. I've read all of the books and love the series, but the 15 dollars a month might not be worth it because I cant play it every day.

Shading is nonexistent, the item sizes are inconsistent and the shapes are very sloppy. Plus the colors aren't very appealing. Fix all of that and you might have something.

Saying that sometimes the mainstream is right is a COMPLETE matter of opinion. And who said non conformists totally reject the mainstream? I seriously doubt that reading a couple posts by a stranger on a forum will tell you that they completely reject it.
Some people don't act like this because they don't want to be like everyone else, some people just enjoy things that most others don't like. I am an artist and have many artistic friends that don't do what everyone else does, not because they want to stand out or be special, but because it is their nature and what they feel comfortable doing.
I personally don't want to date right now because I don't feel comfortable enough yet. I have a few guys (that won't leave me alone) and would date me in a heartbeat, but it's not what I want, no matter what else everybody else is doing.
