Make sure you keep port at 4000 and both of you change the ip address to the person with the server. also have the library files extracted. hopefully this works =P

Ok i figured i post a new thread because not everyone is understanding the concept of getting there game online off your own ip address.. so here it is. For windows Vista 1)download library files -> install them 2)put the dx7vb.dll and dx8vb.dll in system32 folder -> then register them…to register them -> open anyone of them up and use this path to open them. c:\windows\system32\Regsvr32.exe dx7vb.dll 3)send your friends the files to your game (they don't need the server.exe) 4)have them go to client->config -> change ip address to yours and keep port 4000 .dll files you can find on google because the ones on the fourms dont seem to be working. and there you go it should start up for xp 1)download library files -> install them 2)install direct x 7 and 8 if you dont have it 3)send them the files to your game 4)go to client->config ->have them change ip address to yours and keep port 4000 any questions? hopefully this solved it i will edit this so that the dx files are on here.

This is not a tutorial, however, i know how it can be done but don't know how to script it. All the other tutorials had bugs but if you set it up like this i believe it would work. 1\. Make a spell for whatever the Shape is… ex. (Tiger) 2\. Change the spell type to scripted. 3\. Make a script that loads your sprite number, then will change your sprite, and when you use it agian changes back to the sprite that you started from. lol sorry about that but if you can figure it out please post it so i can change this ^ =] hope this helped for anyone.

somthing is wrong with your data.ini if you can fix that then your good.. also Magic = 7+(12) thats how its going to look… so just so you know it's not exacatly a bug... its just saying add 12 levels to your normal lv. Also there is'nt a script yet that i came across on that turns your magic lv into a magic attack bonus or somthing like that, that you would be interested in.

im not to sure but did you mess with the item magic bonus to see what specific bonus it adds? and if you want an att attack bonus without showing you might need to mess with the main file but becarefull with that @.@

i opened up the server and sent him the library files and my client folder but her gets errors such as "Error loading colors.txt or somthing" and wont let him even get to the game screen…. any ideas?
