phpBB has definitely been out there for the longest, therefore it has a wider community base and you'll be sure to find more free plugins.
MyBB and SMF come pretty close to the number of available plugins as well.
I used phpBB first, then SMF, then vBulletin and IPB, and now MyBB.
As a free forum software, the quality of MyBB is definitely there. Besides, it did start out as paid software. You can find plenty of plugins to come close to the level of usability of some of the paid forum softwares.
phpBB is big and all, but I feel there's less security risk involved with MyBB. -
Well regardless if it's Cooltext or not, the first one looks better in its original state.
The added black outline just looks silly. -

I have recently re-designed our site.

It was built using the Bootstrap framework, HTML5 elements, CSS3 elements, jQuery, PHP.
The site has been HTML5 validated, and the forums XHTML 1.0 validated.
Entire site is gZip compressed.
Entire site was tested for compatibility with most modern browsers Chrome, Opera, Firefox, Safari, Android Browser…
and IE10...
I am asking for the community's feedback and any suggestions or issues you might come across.

For IE 10, the site looks blurry compared to other browsers. Any idea/suggestion for this?
In IE 10 AGAIN, which font should I use? The current one doesn't look right..
Also, can anyone test the site in iOS, Blackberry, and other browsers? -
How many pieces of hardware does your wire travel through from the wall to the computer?
Are you behind just 1 router, or a router AND a modem?
Sometimes the modem acts as a Router/Modem/Firewall. So even if you try to config the 2nd router, nothing will be port forwarded if you have a firewall before that in your modem.

There is no rule book for how to design a logo, some are more simpler than others. Some people value keeping things simple.
This is not a debate thread so I would ask please comment for questions about the service as it was originally intended for.
