  1. alright well, how would I go about making it compatible with C++?
I remember seeing a thread about it a couple months ago..
  2. I know that eclipse is in VB6, but I was wondering if there is a variation of the engine that is in C++?
Or something that I can use to make the source able to be edited in C++?
    thanks so much
  3. hm, I bet you guys have heard this question asked like 45436848956 times, but I searched it and I didn't find my whole question answered

I need a script, that when I click on my shopkeeper, the shop menu pops up.
But, I also want to know exactly where to put the script that you guys give me.
    Thanks a lot!
  4. Hello all!
my friend and I are making a game (duh)
but, we have some ambitious ideas, or at least we think they are

we want to make a battle system similar to the one used in this game, Star Ocean 2:
    WATCH
    [A Star Ocean 2 Battle Video](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ZGEVxmEeWQ)

(I used to have Star Ocean 3, great game)

now, basically our interpretation is you see a monster on the map and walk toward it triggering the battle sequence, the screen fades black and you appear in a map similar to your surroundings and the monster appears
you have 4 different items on a hot key system, the keys being a, s, d and w.

In the real star ocean game, instead of "hot keys", you actually open a little menu, but that causes the game to pause which wouldn't work in a good MMO.

you can learn many skills, but you can only use 4 in a battle
2 short range, and 2 long range.
some skills can do both, others are limited to their respective range.
you can configure the skills in the main menu outside of battle
the skills would be buttons 1,2,3 and 4

    NOT TURN BASED
    PLAYED IN REAL TIME!

you can use the skills any amount of times that you want
as long as you have the MP or SP to use them

Once the battle is over, you are teleported back to the spot where you walked into the monster

Now, please tell me this is possible!
I know that might have been a little confusing or annoying to read, haha sorry  :embarrassed:
and we realize that the beastly scripting involved would take an extremely long time, but hey, atleast you get an amazing battle system!

    Thanks, Rob

I need help with my doors..
I want to be able to walk into the door, and it takes me to the inside of the shop

    there's the shop
I already made a map for the inside
But, how do I make the connection between the spot where my door is located, and the inside of the shop?
    thank you!
