I play magic rather casually, it's fun, for the most part you will be fine with an Event deck, which is like an introduction deck, but it doesn't suck as much.

Depending on the level of play you are refering to, it can be really easy, to wallet bursting, but unless you are aiming for top tier competitive games, you should be fine, also, avoid Legacy, play Standard format, it's cheaper, and it's more fun in my own opinion, cards are always in print, and it changes more, and feels more balanced.
  2. > i cant imagine how much time you need to write all of this! good job xel!

I am not done yet, but when I originally posted it, and it only took 3 hours or something, it's not that much.

Thanks, if you find anything in there that you feel is not right, tell me so I can look into it, many parts of it is written at 2am, so it wouldn't be odd if I had ended up talking about something completely off topic all of the sudden.
  3. > I just thought i would ask if there is any news when eo4 4.3 will be due for release? i dont wana spend months building a game in the wrong engine :D

Don't worry, the engine is backwards compatible, so you can start in 4.2 right now, and it will be compatible with 4.3, and onwards _most likely_.
  4. I must say that I agree with Spike on this, throwing banter is very natural for most humans, and that right should not be taken away, however I believe that there must be a line somewhere to a point where it's no longer okay, and that line is very hard to draw, since everyone is different, both the victim, as well as the offender of the banter, and of course of those who judge it(admins/mods), causing it to be a rather complicated and sensitive thing.

Spike is on the right track, however I hope with the new owner, as well as a bit of new staff will change this for the better, and prove Spike wrong eventually.
  5. I sort of liked the idea of a scripting shop, but it is true that it would cause problems, to be honest there's no real reliable way for the developers to earn money for their work without making the community decay, donations are no way near enough, **I would donate if it felt like the money goes to the right place**, and that my economy would be able to handle that, I wouldn't need flashy groups or anything to show off, just some way to make it feel that if I would donate, the developers would actually be genuinely happy and thankful, but there's no interaction what so ever that even hints this.
  6. My god do I miss Sad scripting, it was one of the saddest times of my life when it got removed.

I generally do not take sides in other peoples arguments, but the part of Aeirex being rather elitist is no secret, anyone can see that, from the way he writes, to his avatar and signature.
