  1. Was gonna start a topic for this on my own, but I found this instead so BAM.

I was keeping an eye on Starbound for awhile now, but it wasn't really exciting me.

HOWEVER, with some of the new information they released that I recently found, I'm blown away. This game looks amazing, and everything they're doing is impressive as hell.

The random weapon generator, the random creature generator, the random land generator, it's crazy.

We're not talking random stat creation, but random visuals. It's ingenious, and I can't wait to play.

Instead of making a bunch of sprites for weapons and monsters, they made tons of PIECES for weapons and monsters. They're all randomly frankensteined together, and they've confirmed that the possible combinations for creature generation is nearing 1 million. (Not including unique colouring.)

  2. Well.. hmm.. It could be that their client's graphic files don't match your own. They could have a few tilesets switched around or something ![:o](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.png)
  3. oh hello ![:)](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png) Thanks everyone for the compliments, you're all awesome ![^_^](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.png) <3

Anywho, PalePony, if you're new to the whole coding/programming thing or this forum in general, it may be a bit confusing for you to pick up. I know I was totally lost at first myself and didn't know where to start.

Anywho, modConstants and modPlayer aren't folders, their modules. Modules are pretty much classes in visual basic. You can find the raw source for them in the "src" folders in both the client and server folders. Now, you won't be able to just edit them like text documents and hope it works.

You'll have to edit the project files that use the modules. Each project file is also located in the client/server folders.

Unfortunately you'll need visual basic blah blah to do all the editing, so go grab that. Anywho, I'm not amazing at giving instructions, so you may have to ask someone else or snoop around for tutorials, but I hope I managed to give you a hand ![:)](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png) <3
  4. Code Geass and Gurren Lagann are pretty damn bad ass. They both have a nice amount of episodes too! Not too few, not too many. Code Geass sits at a nice 50 turns (episodes) and wraps up well.

It also pretty much blows your mind and sometimes sent shivers down my spine from all the awesome.

If you're looking for something too watch quickly with a high level of blood and boobs, Elfen Lied.

Demon King Daimo was awful in an entertaining way. The amount of fan service pumped into that anime is just a little over the top.. but that's okay ![;)](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png)
  5. - Doesn't pay

    - Declares ownership for unpaid work

    - "You'll still be allowed to use your work for any portfolio yada yada."

_Allowed?_ Oh thank you for giving me permission to use my own work that wasn't bought from me.

Might want to rephrase some of this to sound more pleasant if you're hoping to find some **_free_** workers ![;)](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png)
  6. They are pretty nice ![:)](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png) The only thing I can say is to try and make the cliffs less straight cut and more natural. Add random dips and ledges. Outs and ins, that sorta thing.
  7. Hmm… So... Yeah I guess I'll pool in for this, still got a spot ![:)](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png)?

... oh lol this is old, now I'm sad
  8. > Logo looks nice and original, I personally wouldn't use that blue backdrop, also the bottom stroke line on the cloud looks too thin - but that's my point of view.

Ooops, I meant to fix that bottom line, thanks for reminding me ![:o](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.png)
  9. Aha, thanks guys ![:)](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png)

Now you're right, I guess it is a bit jagged. Also, I have noooo idea what happened to the tip of the spiral.
