We need a Scripter for Dark Settlement. I wont ask much out of you, i have already installed most needed scripts, but what i dont understand are quests scripts. Thats pretty much all im asking right now is someone who can make a quest script. But I would still need you for other simple scripts. You will get a lot of credit in making the game, all we have right now are maps and a few scripts (start up items, spell anim in front of player when he attacks, etc.) Were using RMXP, yes im sorry, i know it sucks, but i like RMXP. Does anyone have the 2 bigger screened GUIs for EE 2.5? Its the default one with the dragon. Thank you :D

Does anyone have a fixed EE2.5 download? One that doesn't say that the client is corrupt? Does anyone have a map converter for 2.6 to 2.5?

Ever since i had a friend host my server, i constantly lose my REAL place in-game. Only way i can fix it without using my admin abilities is to close and re-open the client. Its becoming very annoying and happens about three times a minute. Is it this way with all Eclipse games or is it just a bad server host? Or something else entirely? EE2.6

I'm a very efficient mapper, i can get a lot of maps done in a short amount of time that still look great. That world map took about a week of working 2 hours a day (sometimes 3-4 hours). I am open for any game as long as you know how the engine works, i dont really care, im just really bored. Once maps are done i don't even want credit, i'm just really bored mapping with Inquisitor's right now. And our game is kind of on hold so ill be open most of the day. Summer break for me starts TOMORROW so ill be on 24/7 mapping. Please give me info on your game and don't just ask me to join. Last thing: Can you pull your own weight on a team? If yes i will gladly join your project if i like it.

Lore: The Three Heroes In the year 600, a terrible drought struck the land of Shontaria. All of the nations were falling apart from all of the famine and dehydration. A very crafty being found an opportunity. He wasn’t a human, but a Dark-Elf Druid. Druids were known for their craftiness and cunning. His name was Optonian. Optonian found an opportunity to seize the entire nation of Hosteu, the leading Military nation in the world. Once he had control of Hosteu he would then launch individual attacks on each of he surrounding nations until he had control over them all. Optonian started his plan by speaking publicly in random towns sprawled across Hosteu. He claimed that he had an ‘infinite water source’ that he would travel to each night and gather water from. He would then take it back to the villages until he had the trust of the greater percent of the nation. Everyone adored him, even the emperor. Once the trust of everyone in the nation was gained, Optonian had to kill the emperor. He invited the emperor over to his shack for a small feast of bread and water. Optonian poisoned the bread with his dark magic. The darkness would slowly corrupt and then kill the emperor. The emperor began to vomit almost every night. Not one person suspected Optonian except for the emperor’s son, Jonas. Jonas was a very clever Arch Sage who saw past Optonian’s plan. Jonas accused Optonian of treason and murder, and the emperor, who was brainwashed from the magic, threw him in prison. Jonas, while in prison, befriended two in-mates named Thomas and Rachel. Thomas was a powerful gladiator and Rachel was a veteran archer. Both were put in jail for the same reason as Jonas. They all three despised Optonian and knew of his plan. It was too late though. Optonian waged war on the surrounding 4 nations. After one year, he had control of 3 nations. Only one remained: Vhutoria. Vhutoria help the most powerful relic in the world, the Dragon Ring. Rumors say that the most powerful of mages could tap into it to summon a dragon into this world. The ring was protected by an elven sage named Vaethir. Vaethir’s heart was pure and he would never use the ring. Optonian invaded Vhutoria and easily took military control of it. He later found Vaethir and sent the armies of all 5 nations upon him. Vaethir had no option but to use the ring. He thought long and hard about using the power. Vaethir knew he shouldn't, the dragon could destroy the entire world if it felt the urge, but then again Optonian would summon a dragon anyway! So he did. The dragon was a terrible foe; it slaughtered any being that had life. It was 50 feet tall with scales all over its body. It could shoot flames that could go 100 feet long from its mouth. It scorched the lands, but it was Vaethir’s only option. News of the terror reached the Hostean Jail. Jonas then combined his magical powers to teleport the three friends to Vhutoria to assist Vaethir. The battle was filled with action. Vaethir, Alexander, Jonas, Elizabeth, and a raging dragon fought off against an army that had more than a million soldiers. The battle lasted three days and once it was over, Vaethir had died. Even worse, the dragon had run out of targets to slaughter, so it turned on the three braves. They had a terrible face-off with the dragon. Neither side could seem to inflict damage on either opponent. The three heroes did not know the powers of the Dragon Ring. Optonian did, though. He warped to the battle site and stole the ring. He used it to control the dragon to finish off the three. All hope seemed lost, but Jonas thought of an idea that would cost himself, Thomas, and Rachel their lives. He had to create enough energy to create a Fhab Bomb, which he could use to kill everyone at the battle site, including the dragon and Optonian. Thomas and Rachel fought off the dragon while Jonas charged up his Fhab Bomb. Once it was time, Jonas and the three said goodbye to the world. He then let the bomb explode. It caught the dragon and Optonian completely off guard, the dragon was slaughtered and Optonian was seriously injured. The Dragon Ring was supposedly destroyed. The bomb blew up half of Vhutoria, hence why it is so small today. Shontaria was safe from any major threats. The world recovered. New leaders were elected and the 5 nations got back to their old schedules. Thanks to the loss of the Three Heroes, the world was saved. But how much longer until Optonian recovers? What do u guys think? 1-10 please.

The past 4 days i've been getting rediculous lag. Once second the forum works fine, but then it freezes. The fix for me is i just close and re-open IE and it fixes it, but the fix only lasts about 45 seconds then it freezes again. Its starting to get very irritating, i atleast want to know: Is anyone else getting this lag?

Heres the beggining portion of Tut Island. It feels empty somehow, i feel like its missing something. (Yes water is animated and yes i see the error in the water tileset, im fixing it right now) Please rate 1-10\. Does anyone else feel like its empty or missing something? I've always been wondering this. (im gonna try to explain it the best i can) Does every 1 Strength point add 1 damage to your attacks, while 1 defense point would subtract that 1 damage taken? So if you had 500 Strength, you would hit for 500 damage on a target with 0 Defense? When a Weapon's Damage is 5, would it just add 5 to your normal damage? So 505 Against a target with 0 Defense? Is weapon damage effected by Defense? So if you had 5 damage against a target with 0 defense, you would hit for 4 against a target with 1 defense? I know this may be confusing but if you can answer it i would be most grateful.

I keep reading about all these copyright laws and people getting sued. So i decided to attempt to make some custom GFX for my game… Does anyone have any tips for me? What program should i use? (Keep it free) With whatever program you tell me about, can u tell me about some tools on it that make GFX making easier?

This may be very confusing but ill try and ask in the best way that i can. How much +damage do you get from having +1 Str? Is +1 Str +1 dmg and +1% Crit chance? Does the Crit chance per Str get lower by level? Example. As you level up the stats on items increase, duh. So. Jimmy is level 1\. Dave is level 100. Since Dave is 100 his items give him superior +Str. If he had like 500 Str and Jimmy could only get like 2 Str, Dave's crit chance would be near the same as Daves? Whats the formula (if there is one) for figuring out how much Str you need to get a +Crit chance % (changed by level of course) If you dont get it still its obviously my way of explaining it, ill keep trying if you dont understand what im asking.

I've been thinking long and hard about how the beginning players will start out. I remember a long time ago i made a little storyline that everyone had to follow, and people said that it wouldn't be good for an MMO because the same thing happens to everyone. I slightly agree with that. I dont want a "tutorial island / caves / mountain / whatever" type of feel, i want there to be an action packed beginning storyline that teaches people how to play my game, then when they finish that little storyline (would take 10 mins max to finish), they appear at a town and begin to play the game. Thing is i can't really think of an action packed storyline that would cause players to really actually like having to go through the tutorial once they make a new char AGAIN. I was thinking to make it like a dream, you start off at level 1 in the dream, and you fight your way out of it and kill some mini boss, then wake up and begin playing. OR You start off captured in a cave and must escaped while not getting caught. I was thinking these would be some cool ways for players to start out AND learn how to play, plus it wouldn't be boring. What do you guys think? If u agree can you (and this is IF U CAN) think of any other cool ways to start out? I would love to hear it.

I was told to put this in my ondeath sub. Call WarpPlayer(index, map, x, y) Do i change that to look like this? Call WarpPlayer(index, 1, 9, 9) I changed it to map1, coords 9 and 9. Doesn't work though, my character still stays in the same place. Can someone help?

Somethin wrong is happening with my left ear and im getting concerned: I cant hear out of it I feel like theres pressure on it, like theres something thats just gonna pop. Everytime i swallow it hurts my left ear, badly Has anyone else had this happen to them? This freakin me out, im home alone right now, no parents so i dont know who to ask. It started about 3 hours ago.

Okay i have a few questions about these: 1\. Do they let your client files stay hidden in the computer while only the Icon can be seen on the Desktop? 2\. Do I need to know any programming languages to properly get one to work? 3\. Are they free? 4\. If they are, where can i get them? Thanks ^^
