Step1: Create what every text you need (simple enough right ?
Step2: Then create a layer below the text and use the RECTANGLE tool to create a rectangle behind it.
Step3: Go to LAYER STYLE and click on gradient
Step4: Change gradient style to reflected
Step5: Change the gradient colours to what you want
Quick example: (just made this with the exact steps i gave you

just use a gradient with opacity, and make it the layer behind the text

the black outline around the lettering is deffinately a stroke

im not sure what rotation is, but for the rest i have hired a programmer, they will be soon implemented

**STORY**
**5000 years ago Dragons ruled the lands, skies and seas, sculpting the world as they see fit.**
**the dragon Doranth was approached by something undescribable known as the Unborn, he commanded the Doranth that he will be a king, ruler of all the dragons, the unborn only demands was that the dragons must leave the humans alone. "Humans ?" Doranth asked. The unborn then went on to rip his own soul from his body and created the first colonie of humans.**
**Doranth went on to rule the Dragons in peace with the humans, the Humans looked up to dragons as gods and the creators because of there fearsome size, power and abillities and legends were told from every corner of the world**
**Now 5000 years on and the dragon Vezoth had allways been jelous of the humans and saw them as a weak and pitiful race who had no place in there presence, he challenged Doranth to the throne and pleaded to others to join his cause, a huge battle of the dragons took place ****Vezoth**** and ****Doranth**** battled but Vezoth got the better of Doranth killing him and absorbing his soul.**
**With the dragon kingdom fallen Vezoth and his followers looked north the the cold, white mountains to reclaim the old kingdom. the rest of the dragons lived there years spread out and without a ruler**.

**A mysterious race that worship the dragons of destruction and darkness giving them the ability to cast curses upon there enemies and obliterate them with destructive magic

I still think we should change the UI so none of it interferes with game screen, i think this is essential with a sidescroller especially

isnt bubble striker engine being sold for a very cheap $10 ? i could find that kind of money on the floor lol
I dont think anyone will implement it for free so seems like your only choice. -

Also just to let everyone know whos interested that today or tommorrow there will be some new content including some exterior tilesets and extras to the allready existing tilesets and also the sprite with all walking animations. -
so you changed/edit the code, if so thats most likely your error then not the engine seth made

AS far as im aware the BG i used was just from rmxp or vx or something, there will be custom BG aswell.
As for sprite i bealive here is a new 1 coming made by a different artist.
This was only a few hours work on the tilesheet so lots more to come :) stay tuned
