  1. I'm going to be making one of those small cube computers this summer, if we're talking about the same thing (Lan case).  Things a damn neat.

So monkey how did you feel walking out of a warehouse with a fancy little touch screen lol
  2. Ha, I'm surprised to see Commander Keen mentioned lol I love that game, It's sittin' in my closet. "Good bye Galaxy" it was something like the first two episodes in one… Oh the nostalgia... :P

Note: Gwen you're right, Dune was either one of, or was the first real RTS. My step cousin is a game history nut and he had to show it to me lol
  3. I'm going to have to say no on this one. In an abstract sense you could look at a computer virus and it may appear to be living but when you really get down to it, all a virus is, is electricity. If you consider it's ability to reproduce (electricity moving around various parts of a computer) a valid point, I would very strongly disagree. Reason being, if it was true, all computers would be considered alive. I don't think this is the case.

None the less interesting find Monkey.  :)
  4. Heh, being only 16 right now, I did miss out on this stuff when it came out… But none the less I had step bros who got all this stuff when it was new so I have all these vintage games laying about  :P

One of my favorite vintage games was, Kaboom... Oh god that game was addicting.

This thread just reminded me of another ancient piece of equipment, for those of you who remember the "Game Genie" << I loved that damn thing. Still got the book of codes for it too. :)
  5. Ha, for the longest time I thought about making one of these threads but was too lazy to do it I suppose…

    Anywho I have 3 dogs, 2 cats.

I only have pictures right now of my two dogs at my dad's house:

    Doofus #1 a.k.a. Lucky

    And…

    Doofus #2 a.k.a. Puppy

She always sorta looks depressed… And guys I don't mean to be a party pooper but some of these pics are just gross.
  6. So, here it is straight from Japan! An Obama action figure! If I could get my dirty little paws on one of these babies I would be a happy camper. Word from my buddy who has had his eye on this says some dude is importing them from Japan and selling them on Ebay for about $75 bucks a pop… Too steep for me but dude you can ducking swap out his hands for different poses!

And yes that is Obama fighting Darth Vader with a lightsaber... Your eyes do not lie to you.
  7. The Black Kremer (Oh such a horrible play on Black water) mercenary's from the city under the sea just south of Pieland rise up and offer the aid of their Krispy Kreme bacon cheddar cheeseburgers to the highest bidder. Who among you wishes to control the power of an instant heart attack smashed between a sliced glazed donut?!

(I couldn't resist joining a World War Food fight)
  8. What would we do without people who can cure and/or protect our chickens from getting sick so we can cut them up and eat them later!? :P No really, we would all be getting sick like them chickens!
  9. Hmm, I love this dimensional stuff it never ceases to spark my curiosity. The 4th dimension, I think I would agree with Albert on this one, is time. Then again, are not all dimensions "discovered" because the human mind can comprehend them in their true form? Or is it just that these dimensions are the way they are because we perceive them this way?

Feel free to argue this, but the way I see it humans can only go as far into discovering dimensions as they can see from their own perspective. At the moment humans have no way of bending their own ability to comprehend to view or understand other dimensions, but perhaps humans will eventually be able to use technology to bend these other dimensions into a humanly viewable way.

I apologize if I rambled… It's just that when I read this stuff it makes me think and I sort of wrote my thoughts down.
