    > @Steve: I sure do! If I'm working in C# its most likely XNA, if it's C++ its most likelY DirectX :P

XNA is great for making games, wish MirageXNA was still underdevelopment.

Lol yeah we'll have to change the name but its all good.  Thanks, i like when i have a weapon at 100% and it hits crits all the time.  Wonder if i should make a weapon that has 100% crit chance??

  4. Im currently looking for a pixel artist.  Multiple if need be.  I have a good staff working for me and a great community waiting for the games release.  If you need any information then leave a message or PM me.  Heres the topic with the current RMXP graphics we are using, but you can see what your working with from it.

    Youll be making items,tiles,animations, etc.
  5. One of the variables inside the array its trying to access hasn't been properly defined or doesnt exist.

    Need a little more information.

Plus this is kind of a useless tutorial.  You can just add the points manually instead of using this code.
  6. @Ganjika:

    > I looked at the tutorial above and it says "Go to frmMainGame and search picScreen_MouseDown.. and put this code:" but I don't have a frmmaingame, I downloaded Eclipse Origins File version 1.3.0.0 and product version 1.0.3\. Downloaded it a few days ago from this site so its pretty recent. The tutorial seems alittle old and I believe its one of the ones i saw earlier when googling.

Got to have a EO 3.0 (Nightly) or CS:DE.  Then use a program with alpha channels lol.  Should have said you need at least an engine with DX8.
  7. If the part that says "main menu" is an image then you set the transparency using photoshop, or some other program that supports alpha channels.

As for the full screen issue…It really just depends if its the DX8 or DX7 eclipse.  But theres tutorials for both I believe.
  8. Update:
Items that are equipped no longer sit in the inventory.  They now go to the character creation screen once equipped.  I will have screenshots later, want to add a few more things first.
  9. Combat is to slow for me lol.  I know they were talking about how it feels like your actually swinging a heavy weapon because of speed.  But thats not my style.  In COD I just ravage rooms and kill everyone in one feel swoop.  Doesnt appear that id be able to do this.  I do like however that when you lower your visor there is no chance of a head shot from arrows.  Real innovative.

Lol i like this one.  Your not to bad, it just takes time to be awesome at it.  Try a dog?
  11. @Kreator:

    > Random colors and effects? That doesn't make you sound like your keen to learn to become an aspiring artist! Don't cheat yourself.

    Lol yup.

Post something more recent and then we can tell if your skills have improved, or if your still just using random tools.
  12. Im working on a more dynamic combat system.

Ive made items have a critical hit chance.  Shields now have a chance of block.  I wanted to know if anyone had any ideas of other things like that, that could factor into damage.
