Yes, you can have 2 now if you have enough DPoints.
DP had a small downtime due to hardware upgrade. There will be a quick downtime again tomorrow for a change of cables again.

@Likestodraw - Registration is not disabled, on the login box, there is a register link there.
http://www.darksunlight.com/?page=dp_register.php . You can have 1 server per spot. Minecraft servers use Java as far as I know.

Server Hosting Wizard can now automatically install the files for these servers in your account:
-Minecraft
-Minecraft Bukkit
-Minecraft Classic
-San Andreas Multiplayer
-AlterEngine 1.8.3
-AlterEngine 1.8.2
-Eclipse Origins (Version 2)
-Eclipse Event System (Version 2.3)
Auto-installation and verification together takes less than 2 minutes (in most cases, less than a minute).
Any other server, you can still install it, but you have to upload your files manually like the usual. After you upload, the verification takes less than a minute.

I just saw this topic by accident.
1\. There is a "Comments to Admin" for the reason to report problems.
2\. You posted the topic on the wrong board which is on the wrong forum.
Edit: note that I cannot give support here in Eclipse, too many boards and most of the topics has nothing to do with DP. I cannot keep watch of them. If you want proper support post it in DP.

@Lightning: Indeed, the DPoints just looks scary, but few games and you get all DPoints you need ^^. Specially that there is a flaw on every new game which allows you to 'farm' [DPoints](http://www.darksunlight.com/arcade.php?page=dpoints). But I will find a way soon to prevent new games from being used as 'farming' tools.

Indeed, as many know (and don't know), I have a topic in the resources section and I still can't believe DP hasn't been known to like ~60%+ of the people here.
DP hosts up to everything for free… I get many PMs (40+) when the server hosting was full and now that I opened up slots, apparently no one noticed that little topic on the resources section.
So on the end, I would just like to know... How many of you haven't even heard of DP? (before reading this topic...)

I believe you haven't read my "F.A.Q.". VPS and my server hosting are very different, VPS aren't server hostings, as far as I know they are "dedicated server hosters", which by fact they are complete different even though they have similar names.
Please do research a bit more before posting something of the sort.

I'm not sure who you are, but I sure don't appreciate you telling me what to do on my topic here. There IS a server hosting ever since this topic was updated with that line, currently for those who registered before and there is opening spots, if you would just read 2 post above yours, it explains how to get a spot.

If anyone is still looking for a server hosting, the tournament that starts on 2010/07/25, will be giving 2 server spots for first place, 1 spot for second and 1500 DPoints for 3rd place.
Registration for the tournament starts today. I will make a post soon today (as is 00:32 now), the name of the tournament is "Game Tournament 3", if you see "2", thats because its still outdated.
DPoints are for getting stuff, its easy to get and if you get 3000 you get a spot, this info is for people to understand what means to get 3rd place. You already start with 1000 so you just have to get 500 if you win in 3rd.
And read the TOS before registering, I already disabled 200+ users because of it…

I'm bumping this topic for people who still are looking for server hosting spots.
"Game Tournament 3" (which the registration starts in 2010/07/17) will give 2 server hosting spots for 1st place, 1 spot for 2nd place and 1.5k of DPoints for 3rd and we will be re-opening many server spots for other registrants.
Other news and informations can be found on the news of the website.

Hmm mine is very good if I can say myself and there is only 1 catch:
-Require the user to at least post 1 post a month (and later i will make that you just have to make 2 clicks to secure that you are active).
That's it. I require that because i don't want inactive users. I don't care if you are learning html or you are pro, as long as you are active user using the web hosting, you have everything you need to get started and move on to big projects ^^.

This will soon turn into flame war or at least a "heavy thread".
Let's just keep the options on the table and leave this thread, (as by its title) was meant to ask for free Web Hosting services.
Each one here has its downsides and upsides.
I would recommend to leave this thread as is and move on to another thread, since i guess the answer to this thread was answered… unless anyone has any other web service to add?

Hmm, I guess not, I was offering FTP access before, but i removed as it got 'a bit' dangerous. But with the new DP app i'm releasing this summer, it will also have FTP features (and if I say myself a way better ftp client compared to all of i have seen), i wasn't going to mention this until the end of the summer, but oh well ^^.
I offered few months ago unlimited web-space, but i reduced to 15mb as mentioned but i will probably increase to 30~50mb as i never seen anyone with a website bigger than that (ignoring the facts of having '.exe' files and all other things which is not part of their real website, my website is just over 20mb). However, i will continue offering unlimited bandwidth.
And about the FTP, here are 3 of the features included:
-Can do basic operations: create/edit/delete/rename files and folders
-Upload / download files
-Can create a 'special' folder on your computer and sync it with the one in DP. The files are updated in real-time in case of any change on your 'special' folder.
-Can manage both web hosting and server hosting files.
The rest will just remain a secret ^^.
But now it sounds like I'm making more propaganda than offering help, so i will restrict my next answers to the necessary.

Yes, I agree 15 mb is not much, but like you said a project is in round 15mb~. But i'm considering having 50mb. However, most of the disk space is for 'Server Hosting' users which probably uses much more space than that and also, I'm trying to incentive users to use th file hosting instead of over using the space on web hosting, like for example with 'application' files and all.
Well, I hope that at least my service is on your list of 'tries' ^^.
