  1. I didn't know what Korma was so I looked it up; could you mix the corn into it once you're done?

I'm not really that big into corn, which is blasphemy since I'm an a American from the continental interior, so otherwise I'm kind of "meh" on this, although having lemons or lemon juice around at all times is definitely a staple for anyone's kitchen.
  2. I haven't done this recipe exactly, I did a slightly different one but it was basically the same. I'm gonna just post the recipe as it was sent to me, then make slight edits for my recommendations.

    Pepper Jack Meat Loaf

1 lb ground beef, ~~turkey or chicken~~ _I'd go 2/3 lb ground beef, and 1/3 lb ground pork; but just ground beef is good._

    1 cup celery, diced

    ½ cup onion, diced

1 cup oatmeal or ~~crumbled saltine cracker~~ _I prefer oatmeal in meatloaf myself, you can also use bread crumbs_

    2 eggs

2 cups pepper jack cheese shredded

    ¼ cup ketchup

    1/8 tsp chili powder

    Salt and pepper

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease a loaf pan.

Mix meat, celery, onion, oatmeal or crackers, eggs together well. _Sprinkle a pinch of salt, pepper, and maybe chili powder in the mixture as well._ ~~Press half of the meat mixture into prepared loaf pan. Place cheese over meat mixture. Top with remaining meat mixture and press down to seal.~~ Spread ketchup over top of meat loaf….sprinkle with chili powder, salt and pepper.

_Instead of just layering it in the loaf pan, I suggest getting some parchment paper (or wax paper will work), and spreading the meat mixture out in a rectangle the width of your loaf pan, then spreading the cheese on top then using the paper, roll the meat up and place it in the loaf pan. This will spiral the cheese in the meatloaf and spread it out more._

Bake, covered lightly with foil, for 30 minutes.

Increase oven temperature to 425 degrees F, remove cover and continue to bake for 20 minutes or until edges are bubbling and knife inserted in center comes out clean.

Let sit for 5 minutes then slice and serve.

The one I did that was similar to this was an italian style, which was basically the same but had more italian spice palette (oregano, basil, and mozarella cheese), and used bread crumbs. It also didn't have any celery but was otherwise the same. It turned out decently but was a little bland (why I suggest here to add a pinch of seasoning to the meat mixture, and not just on the top glaze). Although I suppose the saltine cracker crumbles would have enough salt to flavor the mixture, it might be something to try; one thing with meatloaf is it is pretty versatile.
  3. For squad-based strategy or tactical games, obviously permanent death is a requirement, as balancing the survival and risks of your team and completing the mission is the whole point. Loved X-Com: Enemy Unknown, but it's hardly the first game to deal with this aspect.

Multiplayer games it's a different deal. Budweiser hit on it pretty well, it depends on player interactions really. You have to balance how player actions can cause character deaths, and make it in ways that are still enjoyable. Pretty hard to handle, really. Personally I thought Haven & Hearth did this fairly well, although this did cause the game breaking meta-gaming aspects (as everything is about avoiding your own character death by any means necessary). This comes about also because multiplayer games, especially ones that would have any sort of permanent death mechanic, are persistant worlds; but players can not be persistantly playing the game. So balancing the time spent playing and the "offline" time is a big issue, and doing it in a way that prevents people from abusing it (only striking weak targets when they are alone, then hiding out offline if any resistance appears).
  4. More like welcome to 10 years before you were born! ![:P](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.png)

Considering 10 years ago Tommy Chong was old hippy Leo on That 70's Show.

    >That 70's Show was a decade ago

People who remember when the Soviet Union still existed represent!

Oh yeah, more on-topic: you should check out the movie "Born in East L.A." It's pretty hilarious as well, although it isn't a Cheech & Chong flick.
  5. > I say let it pass. I have absolutely nothing to hide, and I don't need a proxy or TOR just to browse the interwebz. If I start to feel uncomfortable? I'll simply pullthe ducking cord out of my router. The end. I don't need internet shopping (although it's sometimes convenient), and I know how to use a ducking library card (information resources the internet has to offer), and I absolutely do not need social media; it's a joke.

    I lol'd.
  6. It recently passed the house, since they had their whole false flag event in Boston testing the sheep's willingness to submit to martial law, and these sort of times are perfect for passing unpopular things. It's not sure if it will pass the senate, and Obama had threatened to veto the bill before. But we all know that doesn't mean jack shit (still wars, more drone strikes, Gitmo still going, etc.).

I thought it was funny, all the stuff in the paper was about Boston or here the 4/20 rally, and then there was this little tucked away article about a "pro-biz bill passes house", which was about CISPA. Pro-business, funny.

  8. All I'm saying is it may have progressed but it wouldn't have progressed if Cici wasn't acting like a drama queen just baiting trolls to target her.

I'm not putting blame here, but Cici's attitude and behavior are a factor in the perpetuation and scale of this production.
  9. I lol'd about Budweiser especially. His jammies are gonna be ruffled a bit.

But seriously, why do you have admin abilities? You're just the engine development guy, no offense or anything. But you don't need to have wide powers over the forum, you need to focus more on the engine itself.

I don't remember all the drama back in the TE and EE days with the actual coders and game-developer types. We had enough forum drama without them wasting their energy on it.

Some of those are pretty funny.
  11. > It's also pretty pathetic to like Nickelback and Nicki Minajj ;D

People's personal taste in music and media is irrelevant in this regard.

    > I like to see how people react to these controversial topics and perspectives. I asked for this to be closed three times now. I got what I wanted from it a long time ago. I by no means opened these debates to try to get people to believe me. I said this before: I was doing an analysis on something.

tl;dr: you're trolling. Ok that's good to know. I'm sure a majority of your detractors have picked this up a long time ago, and maybe that's why some responses have been typical or atypical to your analyses?
  12. Yeah server reset wouldn't do a damn thing anyway, unless they change the metagaming aspects and siege mechanics. All the old veterans know these mechanics and competing via these exploits takes the fun out of the game and breaks immersion.

A couple months ago TTSnim was suggesting we should play H&H again, I told her I didn't have enough drugs to play H&H again. ![:P](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.png)
  13. > * Evolution to reach Godhood and worshipping Satan/knowledge.

Don't make this nonsense one of your key points then cry when people bring up religion in the debate. I seriously stopped reading the OP post right there.
  14. That's the main problem is there are groups west coast, east coast, and Europe/UK. Best option really would to be have smaller regional meetups.

I think in the U.S. overrall one in Cascadia would be the best, as the core Eclipse people are from Vancouver area, and there was a big bunch from Portland Oregon; it's also somewhat accessible to the Californians (and would be more accessible to me although it's still too pricey). There are enough in the east coast too, could meet up with some of the more easterly Canadians (I don't know how much intracontinental travel is in Canada). UK/Europeans have the easiest options probably as they can drive everywhere no problem; maybe a day trip max (loved driving in Europe).
