I am trying to make orrignal sprites but can't get a good look. I might just use these but with my heads:   But is that sorta using RPG XP's? Or someone elses?

As some may know, i am making a completely new pirate game. For now i am trying to make sprites. I am making the heads ok, but with the bodies i want the same kinda design as this:   Only different looking so its orriganal. But it need the same shape so the paperdoll works properly, and its easier, i can just make my items on an already alligned sheet. If someone could help me get a good look for the bodie by changing it, i could go on from there and it would help alot. Feel free to make the bodies thinner etc. Just so its the same shape. I'd post what ive got so far if someone is willing to give it a shot.

Hey Eclipse, I have created a sort of negitive feel to my game Crusaders from some reason. But feel i have to finish it because ive gone so far with it. So i am going to finish it, but not make it as good as planned. I have relised if you are going to make an MMORPG it should be 100% custom with all your own graphics etc. (As Godlord told me some time ago) So when i have finished Crusaders i am going to make a new game about pirates. I have a really good concept for the game but ill need a couple of scripts. Such as ships, (not sprite changes) like you buy a ship, buy cannons and cannonballs and be able to sail them around the oceans. I was thinking if it was too hard to script boarding other ships, then i could just have it you land your ships on uninhabited islands which are PvP. Yeah just thought id tell everyone. ^-^

As most of you would have noticed, i havnt been on the forums lately…i have been very busy. Which do i download of EE gamma. The full download which is outdated or something or the other download of EE gamma and the patch?

Developers of Eclipse, I do not wish to download the new EE yet until it is fully complete. Would someone be able to PM me the GUI so i can get to work on making it? Thanks.

Developers of Eclipse, Do you think you could make from Eclipse an RPG game maker, which when finished converts into flash and is a flash game which is able to run online? Taking oout everything online about it, chat etc. and just using the RPG side of it with killing NPCs and getting new items and such. If you did this there would be 2 different Eclipse engines and people could make quality Flash RPG's in not long at all. Would be a great thing i think.

I know lots of people are having problems with this, if you have your game saving chars everyone 10 mins they can duplicate, just get out if they have made mistakes and lots of other things. If you set it to save everyyone 10 seconds it laggs up too much. I had an idea when i was taking my dogs for a walk, why not just not save at all, but when they exit the game or quit the window, it saves then! Wouldn't that work? I cant see why it wouldnt.

I thought i better start a new topic cause the other one got Necro edededed, and flamed and all kind of crap. So, i have paint.net, i am using layers to use animation, and i save as .GIF It flattens it and it isnt an animation, does anyone know how to animate with it? Is it even capable for animation?, i just assumed it was….

I havnt been on the forum for 2 days, and already im shocked. What the heck is going on with peoples names? Marsh, Awesome something or other, Countkickass…. Sirken, well, i dont really care about sirkens name. Its annoying some times i dont know who is who... Have i missed something? ::)

How can i set it so the game saves each player every second or so? Will that cause lagg? If so is there a way around it?

I've been playing EO for about 2 weeks now. Its pretty good. Does anyone else play? I like how if you hold down long enough you walk through other players, i think that would be great in eclipse, cause i hate it when people block doorways etc. So if anyone plays tell me and we might meet up or something. :-D

If there is anyone out there that is an expert at paperdolling and can paperdoll these 31 items, it would be much appreciated. You will also need to cut out any faces in the items etc. And allign them also if possible. This would help out alot of people who are wanting to make a 32x64 mmorpg with paperdolling. My game is still in developement but i thought i may as well post this now to see if someone will help out. I need a GUI for EE, the final final coming out in about a month should be the same right? Well, I need it to kind of have a medievil (not dark times) but not magical feel to it. Umm, if anyone remembers Kay-no his site has the sorta thing im looking for, the wood kinda look. Tekrania.tk My game is yet to be named so we can leave that out for now, (Unless someone can think of a name where i go "Yes! Thats perfect!") So could you please put a scroll there if possible. Here is a way to recolour what ever you want without the special programs. An easy pixel program way: Ok, In this Tutorial I will show you how to recolour a sprite's hair brown. Recolour the hair with different darknesses of the colour. Start off with the light gray, and change that into light brown, then the next shade darker etc. [](http://imageshack.us) And there you have it! Hope this has helped you!

In EE, the chat bar at the bottom is cut off so you cant read what anyone has said. Can this be fixed?

I would just like to say, Eclipse has gotta be the best online forum community. We all discuss what we are doing, help out each other alot, have a joke and its fun. How safe is it giving out your IP for your game, cant people hack into your computer? And stuff everything up? Our forums have been hacked a few times so it dont think its that safe, there could be hackers in our midst.

When i press F1 F2 F3 F4 etc. It wont bring up the menus. Why is this?
