  1. Graphics: 8 (theyre from rmxp)
    Difficulty: 8 (fairly easy)
skill system: 7 (not advanced without scripting)
    sprites: 8 (same as gfx)
interfaces: 7 (default gui needs editing for your game)

    THat's my "humble" opinion.  :P

Haha! Thanks! I just realized I could tell by looking at my signup date in my Profile! ;D

    > it even goes to health issues. Kids who parents shield them from getting dirty or being exposed to germs are generally not as healthy. Kids need to get dirty, and get sick… it builds up their immunity, but so many parents are like OMG get out of that dirt!!! and then break out the disinfectant, and quarantine the poor kid.

    > let them get experience in the world so they will be ready later on when it actually matters. Granted you keep them from causing harm to themselves, and viewing pron, cursing, scary movies can cause harm psychologically to a small child, but that is where your parenting skills come in.. you must decide what you think would be appropiate for that child... you know them better than some watchdog saying SAVE THE CHILDREN in some swanky office building.

    Well said!

    > Ok so I think I am going to add a dual class system but players have the option to choose from advanced classes if they want too.
    >
    > After you reach a specific level, players can dual class by completing a specific quest. It will allow players to choose a class, ANY other class and recieve some of that class' benefits. So, in essence, a Dark Knight could go and dual class a Black Mage and obtain some black magic! There will be a negative side to this, classes who go for polar opposites, won't benefit that much. So, if the Dark Knight dual classes the black mage, they will learn a few black magic spells but they will be low to mid level spells with some high level spells but the Dark Knight does not have much MP or magic power to begin with. So the player would have to increase the Dark Knight's MAGI quite a bit which can lead a lack of focus in increasing the STR, and STR is where the D.Knight excells at.
    >
    > I will create a guide that will be posted once this is more finalized. Pretty much, classes should duel class to classes "that make sense" for their primary class. You can technically dual wield any class however as a player, you want to use strategy. The secondary class should be a compliment to the primary class. So for example a good mix would be as follows: Paladin as a primary class and white mage as a secondary class..The Paladin already starts with decent MP and magic skill, however they can only learn low level white magic and some medium level white magic. If a Paladin duel wields the white mage, they will learn way mid and high level white magic spells.
    >
    > Another example would be a Red Mage duel wielding a Knight class. The Red Mage has a decent attack, not as strong as some 'tank classes' but for the most part, decent. Adding a knight as the secondary class will allow the Red Mage to equip some equipment that will raise STR and DEF as well as give him some powerful skills.
    >
    > So, when this is more finalized, I will write more about it, it is still all in the works and is just an idea right now.
    >
    > The next thing is "class advancement". Class advancement is different from dual classes. To class advance to one of the advanced classes, players must have specific stats and be a specific class. Also players who are dual wielding classes cannot class advance. So, in the end, a player can choose to dual class or class advance; players cannot do both with the same character.
    >
    > Advanced classes will not be allowed to WAY later in the game, and will COMPLETELY change your character. Your character will maintain similar stats but for the most part, everything will be different..this includes skills, magic and equipment.

    Sounds great!  ;D
  5. Cook your rice, and throw a chunk of real butter in it.

Cook some chicken and cut it up into chunks.

Saute with the chicken some celery, onion, red pepper, and garlic. Add generous amount of salt and pepper. Add curry spice (I use curry blend, extra turmeric, some ginger, and cardamom in this one.)

To the chicken and veg add half a cup of Tomato sauce (a little water if thick), and let it heat up.

Lastly add in two heaping tablespoons of plain Yogurt (high fat content).

Mix the rice, chicken and veg together. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Delicioso!~

  7. So here's the solution.

    *Make sure Spritesize=0 in Data.ini*

    The pictures posted below show:

    1) The Sprite sheet placement
    2) The Item Sheet used for 32x32 paperdoll. I used an armour for this paperdoll.
    3) A screenshot of how the sprite must be in the 32x32 square. (with a grid of 32x32 the feet should be above the line.).
    4) The paperdoll in action.

    > The way I heard it, Einstein was actually great in math… but his teachers were stupid compared to him and didn't understand what Einstein said, so he got low grades.

Ok, cool. Well at any rate, anyone who DECIDES to fail, is not proving or disproving their intelligence. And there are so many other factors involved like… is the subject boring for the individual? are they more of a hands on person? The school system doesn't actually promote intelligence if you ask me, since it people with low grades end up feeling "stupid" and so lose motivation to learn those subjects, or maybe they had no desire at all. People will generally get into a subject they LIKE, and ones that they like they work harder at, and end up being "intelligent" WITHIN these subjects. But how can you really grade intelligence, when we all know different things that others dont, and some do? It's all quite relative, this "intelligence" matter.

    >
    > There is class SPECIFIC armour and weapons for each class. Meaning there are no universal weapons and armors. The only thing that is universal is accessories..these are stat boosters for the most part and any class can wield them. However, there will be some accessories that only a specific class can get, but these aren't shown till much later in the game.

    > Features that I MAY add:
    >
    > I was thinking of doing soemthing similar to that of FFXI…meaning dual classes...so you start off as a class and eventually you have the ability to have a secondary class. So for instance, you decide to start the game off as a Knight which gives you solid STR and DEF...and when the time comes you decide to choose a secondary class and you choose white mage which will allow you to have some white magic spells and boosts in MAGI. If this took place, the secondary class will never be as strong as if you had it as a primary class. So, this would offer players more customization with characters.
    >
    > Another idea I had similar to the duel class is a form of class change. So cirtain classes may merge with other classes to form a new class. So in this case, a Knight later on would be able to merge with the Dark Knight class later on in a quest or something and turn into a Gladiator. The gladiator would have a brand new move set and stats.
    >
    > I am not sure if I will add any of these features but I can't say that I am throwing them off the table just yet.

    > P.S. I am hoping by next week to post many pretty pictures of GUI and FFSA artwork :D :D :D :D :D :D Not made by me though ;)

I like the idea of dual class.  XD
  10. They can't possibly, because I'm a genius and almost failed school!! haha! No, but seriously. If you decide to be lazy, that doesn't make you less intelligent OBVIOUSLY! This brings to light the story of Albert Einstein. Probably everyone knows, he was horrible at math in school, but ended up being a genius in science/math formulas. So there ya have it. Question answered. :p

Cuz he doesnt appear to have legs… If you are using 32x64 sprites the legs should be in the bottom half and the head in the top half of two split 32x32 tiles... (that probably sounds confusing but thats how eclipse works).. basically theres the bottom half (32x32) and the top half (32x32).... you may just need to move that armour up one 32x32 square so that its showing on his body instead of his feet (assuming youre using 32x64).... if the sprite size is 32x32 (spritesize=0) then the paperdoll could only be in one spot anyways as well the body... not two split parts. hope that makse sense!

I should be able to figure it out for you once I get home. I'm at work atm. But I'll see what I can do with it later on. Shouldn't be too hard since I've done paperdoll quite a few times.  :cheesy:

  14. @Kreator:

    > Unrealism, and 'not making any sense', are entirely different.

I agree. But what doesn't make sense about the story? Besides the obvious "improbable" or "unlikely" events? Just cuz the stories long, and not that great, and has events that are never going to happen, or even never COULD happen, doesn't mean it's not "sensible". I think we're gettin pretty technical now though lol.
