    He isnt doing anything differently than any other news host, or politician by censoring out what he doesnt agree with or making fun of it. I also dont see how thats being a "coward". The guy has backbone.

    The tileset is custom except for a dragon statue I ripped from ff4\. The sprites/items are a mix of different console games.

    Btw, I'm gonna take your advice about fog. Im considering not using it and just sticking with weather and color overlay for some maps.

    lookin good.. i like the simplicity of the sprites and the paperdoll looks nice too. anyway, will definately play once its released.

    This is a Work In Progress for "Gates of Endar" (previously known as Escalon). The game is being redesigned on a better engine, with several other enhancements and additions. 

    Expected release date for open Beta is currently April 1st, 2014.

    **Summary:

    An open world rpg with political and social impacts and various world events that in some way affect eachother.**

    **There are tons of puzzles and games to tackle as well as many highly varied mobs to fight.** **Choose from several classes and enjoy extensive customization options for your character.
    **Intro:

            You wash up on a beach at the foot of a hut. A villager tells you that Vandale city, the capital of Endar, is close by. You have little memory of what happened before you were shipwrecked, but are given few details by this villager. Although he is kind

    enough to lend you a few coin, a weapon, and lodging in his hut.

            On a shelf worn and beaten you notice a red book titled "Gates of Endar" with a strange portal engraved on it's cover. Inside  you read the words "Hero of distant shore, please rescue us from the Changed Ones, they are vile creatures that haunt us in our dreams and kill our children. We pray to the mother Goddess for divine protection." 

            You wonder what it means, sneakily grab some things from the hut and go to sleep to find it is day again. In Vandale City you meet with Captain Redscale who gives you more information of your origins and purpose in Endar. From here you journey throughout the lands for quests, treasure and clues to your destiny.

    Available Classes:

    **Knight:**
    Protector of the realms. The Knight is a melee focused class who takes the brunt in battle. A Knight can cast close combat magic.

    **Bard:**
    Singer of Songs. The Bard is a charismatic type whose songs can inspire or defeat. A Bard specializes in buff type magic, to increase or decrease stats.

    **Ranger:** Friend of Nature and Law enforcerer. The Ranger upholds order in Escalon and keeps his heart in tune with natural magic. A Ranger can cast healing spells and weaken foes.

    **Thief:** Swift and Sneaky. The Thief is similiar to a Ranger except that he likes to break the rules. A Thief can steal from opponents, and perform stealth attacks.

    **Shaman:** Diviner of Animal Spirits. A Shaman focuses his mind to heal the wounded, or cast mind-detering skills on enemies. They can also transform into various creatures.

    **Wizard:** Wielder of Great Magic. The Wizard is a magic focused class. Wizard's have extremely powerful offensive magic, having mastered the elements.

    Unlockable Classes:

    **Oracle:** Mystical Visionary. The Oracle uses their prophetic power to both heal and harm. An Oracle is fragile, but makes up for it with an equal mix of offensive and defensive magic.

    **Necromancer:**
     Friend of Death. They can raise the dead or cast curses to devastate the enemy.

    ***** At level 50 you can switch jobs, to mix Job skills. For example, a Knight turned Shaman could use Knight skills and Shaman skills respectively.

    **Features:**

    Mini-Games
    - Throughout Endar are people who like to play mini games. For example: Pick a Chest, Gambling etc
    Treasure Hunting
    - Find a map with coordinates and the right shovel and you can find hidden treasures.
    Puzzles
    - Some areas require strategy like avoiding traps and decaying floors, finding secret passages, or inputing codes for switches.
    Side Quests
    - Called "Tasks" in game. There is a balance between grinding and run-of-the mill activities.
    Instanced Bosses 
    - Party members (or individuals) will encounter bosses on maps that exclude other players.
    Unique Skills
    - ie. Sleep, Mesmerize, Summon, Invisibility, Sacrifice, Resurrection, Charming, Sneak, Steal, and Transform.

    Interactive Fishing
    - When you fish at a dock a window appears allowing you to keep fishing or quit.
    Character Customization
    - Everything from hair to skin color and clothes.
    Guilds/Guild Wars
    - Each guild obtains their own Castle and each member has a Warpstone to access it. Guilds can go to war with another.
    Risky PvP
    - Some cities/towns have arenas to battle in. When fighting pvp you have a chance to lose items to another player.
    Fun Emotes
    - Characters can use animated emotes such as Sad, Excited, Scared etc..
    Player Interaction
    - Right-clicking a player allows you to trade, invite to guild, become friends, party, and examine stats/equipment.

    **Team:**

  9. Dunno if this is a problem with the original quest system but If you have a collection quest it counts up to 3, then goes back to zero when you get more than 3 of the item.. for me this happens twice before actually counting properly.. anyway if you know what could cause it please let me know
