What if the "New World Order" is a good thing? Bush Sr. openly admitted that the U.N was created for the purpose of what he continually called "new world order". Is it so bad that global elitists want to end war in the middle east and globally? Or that they want to unify the monetary system and balance the world's economy through a type 1 global civilization? I think it's great! Well, there is one problem. Any empire (if we want to look at it in that respect) has always had the downfall of dissection; groups deciding they dont want to be part of a global system. But If I think about it, none of the empires ie. Babylonian, Roman had pure democracy. The rulers were considered gods and everything they said was ultimate. A Global system of order can work, if the type of government makes the people happy, and they can see the relevance is globalization.
It's already gearing towards that. We have a global network (internet), news, trade, military alliances en masse. I'm not saying that north american government or european have perfect systems. Especially with the pressure of economic decline and collapse. But, I think the motive of tearing down dictatorships and tyranny is an honorable one. Even if the outcome ends chaotically.
Things tends towards chaos unless there is some prevailing order. The fact that there is groups of people, wealthy people with elite ranks in world affairs, who are aware of what is going on the world and know something has to be done to create socio-economical balance shouldn't scare people. I think it should make us realize that if this stuff wasn't going on, we'd already be fighting world war 3\.
I believe in conspiracies. It's in the dictionary, and there have been many throughout history. However, I highly doubt that uniting nations with the hopes of peace agreements, and free trade is one. The reality is that there will always be war over religion, politics, borders etc. But if we can limit those wars to almost nothing why the hell not have New World Order?
Before anyone says I'm deluded, just consider that I used to think all world leaders were corrupt. I've simply changed my mind to where I now see them as intelligent humans with the natural fear of death, attempting to prevent ww3 anyway they can. No doubt, some care about nothing but money and resources. -

Yea i have to agree with Boobs.. theres nothing to be critiqued.. you used the transition tiles properly, made good use of layers, and the map has variety. kudos!

get a copy of photoshop and look at tutorials.. im not flaming but these are god awful.. if anyone uses them in a project theyre just going to get criticized and told to change it

Not dissing your version. But I can't fathom people needing more than 4-5 layers for ground/fringe tiles.

glad to see someone is making use of my old tiles  anyway, some criticism: the patterns in the mana and exp bars look odd. a base color with a highlight strip near the top (2pixel height) might work better. also, the buttons should have some color and then simply make them brighter/higher contrast when you hover. the black and white doesnt match the tiles. the hearts are perfect.

There's only one problem. 8bit graphics are 8x8 pixels, not 16x16

My only criticism is the name sounds too generic. But, If you need help with 8bit graphics let me know.

To me, the first 5 are great. The axe however, should be slightly thinner. That's my opinion.
