For those who don't want to go to the website without information:

    >
    > Available free of charge, the game thrusts players into an epic bug hunt featuring a unique blend of co-op play and squad-level tactics. With your friends, form a squad of four distinct IAF Marine classes. Plan your attack using an unlockable arsenal of weapons with countless loadout configurations against a wide variety of aliens. Blaze your way through an overrun, off-world colony, eradicating the alien infestation in environments ranging from the icy planet's surface, to a subterranean lava-flooded mining facility.

    > Along with the game get the complete code base for Alien Swarm that features updates to the Source engine as well as the SDK. Alien Swarm adds 3rd person camera, depth of field, improved dynamic shadows and a wide variety of gameplay additions to the Source engine.

    > everyone playing your game is not going to zoom in, why should I need to?

    Exactly what I was thinking.

    > Oh yeah… I totally forgot about titan quest. Too bad they don't support it anymore. I'm not even completely sure online multiplayer works still.

It does, I was playing multilayer only a couple months ago on it.
  4. You might want to look at Project Vertigo, it allows you to make a side scrolling game.

    > I like the idea of a turn based battle system. I'm not a huge fan of pokemon but a turn based MMORPG…thats cool. My only question is about PVP. What happens if, say, your opponent leaves or something in the middle of a battle? Do you just get stuck there?

I think it's obvious he would make it so that didn't happen..
  6. @¡sıɹɹɐɥ:

    > Cba to open it up right now. It's kind of new so I'm thinking it's DDR2, I'll check tommorow. Also another question, 3.33GHz processer speed is pretty god damn fast right?

    How many cores? :P
  7. @¡sıɹɹɐɥ:

    > How do I test to see what my motherboard can handle?

Look up your motherboard model and see what it is compatible with
  8. @¡sıɹɹɐɥ:

    > Oh good, so if it weren't a price issue and my motherboard was up for it, DDR3 would be better?

    Yes

    > Thanks. I am glad **someone** is enjoying my hard work. Most people on these forums don't deserve my dedication and hard work because they're too lazy to even download a ducking program. It's astonishing. It's game, **meant for enjoyment!**

Oh wow. Someone seems a little bitter. Your hard work and dedication on a shitty 1 level brick game made in Visual Basic? I'm sure it took a terrible amount of time to make.
