Wow, this thread is ancient!

Bored of Terraria, and MineCraft?
Want a new game to play? Something fresh, new and different?
You're looking at the right thread!
Introducing EpicInventor!
A great new game, still in development! It's said to go into testing really soon, and the developers have only been at work for about three months!
Friendly active staff on the forums, so you can ask them questions and give them great ideas and actually get a reply!
Here's a screenshot of earlier on in the development, you'll need to checkout the EpicInventor forums for more details, and teasers!

The GUI looks like it has been made for a zombie survival or vampire game or something along them lines.
The font and buttons aren't a good choice though. -
It is pretty awful.

VB6 Forum?
in Q & A
@Bcm27:
> You just love posting pictures like that Robin..Do you have a entire folder of them or something?
If I had to guess, I'd say he has one for each different situation.
I've seen that guys face a few times now. ;) -
Don't think there are any up to date tutorials.
You'll need to make your own quest system, have fun! -
I've been wanting to get this game since I heard about it.
Sadly, I've got no money to buy it.
Is it worth the money though? -
I like this, seems to be doing really well.
I've always loved the Pokemon games, I still do.
I play Pokemon Blue on a regular basis, with the good old Gameboy Colour. -

I found what I was looking for, turns out I already had the mod, but didn't know how to make it do what the other people were doing.
I contacted the mod creator and he gave me all the information I needed, thanks for your replies! -
Hey guys, today I was playing on a multiplayer server and two people came on and started shooting hundreds of arrows, and heaps of fireballs all at the same time.
They said it was a mod but refused to tell me which, could anyone tell me what it's called?
Interested in checking it out. :D -
Help please

All your image files need to be in the .bmp format. -
@Kreator:
> Don't work on a black background. Change it to a more neutral color with some hue. Perhaps a faint mid-green or something?
Best advice I ever received.
Give it a shot, it'll make your life a lot easier! -
It all depends on personal preference.
I'd go for PS3, for one reason and one reason only.
I'm a Sony fan-boy, and I know and trust the stuff Sony produce.
I still own a PS, PS2 and now I've got a PS3\. Wouldn't swap them for anything. -
@TianaJRP:

> by the way, i send to another guy using window vista, worked well. But the guy using window 7 got this error
Tell him to right click, go into properties and go into the tab 'Compatibility'.
Once there, tell him to click the box that says 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:' and select 'Windows XP (Service Pack 3)'.
Also tell him to select the box next to 'Run this program as administrator'.
Hope I helped. -
Great tutorial, although I can never get my palette right.

I'm Australian, and I'm white.

@Skornage:
> Ok, granted it's not a work of art, but lets give him the benefit of the doubt here. I think it's a little more reasonable to compare his site to other sites being used for Eclipse than a professional site, which is expected to look good.
> He's using a pre-built engine for his game. Not to say that Eclipse is bad in any sort of way, because that's not my point at all. That should be a good indicator however, that he's not capable of creating something that original or of the sort.
> Of course it's not professional. I wouldn't expect that unless Ryochi was a professional developer building his own engine from scratch with a team of developers, including a paid graphic designer to build a web page with PHP.
> Even still, some webs sites that have managed to make profit from their game haven't necessarily used attractive web sites, but perhaps that's a different topic..
> Back on the topic and to my point, I don't think it looks terrible. Not compared to other sites using Eclipse and what others made of it. :cheesy: Just my opinion. Take it for what it's worth. I obviously felt the need to express it.
I'm using Eclipse Origins, and I can still make websites without needing a website builder.
Sure, mine might not always be the best.. but I'd rather fail while learning, then have someone make a crappy website for me using a website builder. -
I've already got something like this in my game, although you did a good job.
Thanks for sharing this with the community. -
I had to laugh when I looked at your credits.

This is the second website your 'designer' made, and it still looks horrible. -
I don't like the background, I rarely like seeing pictures as the background.
It's not bad, but there's plenty of room to improve.
I'd like to see what else you could do with this site. -
@Slime:
> Wait… so this is an terraria horror story?, what the f*ck is going on in this world...?
> Maybe there will be minecraft houses in real for 10 years?, who knows lol...
There's a lot of stuff like this.
Pokemon, MineCraft, Legend of Zelda, heaps of different games have there own spooky stories.
It's nothing new. -
@Ryochi:
> I think the website looks fine.
That's why I think you're an idiot.
Really, the best thing I think you could do is learn HTML/CSS and make your own website.
It doesn't take long to learn, and anything would be better then the shit your 'webdesigner' setup.
Games everyone should play at least once in their lifetime
