    Paperdolls

Is it possible to make a paperdoll make a part of the actual character transparent? For instance, I'd like to make a paperdoll that turns a large character into a small dog. Unless I find away to make the giant transparent and show only the dog sprites, the dog will just appear over the giant which obviously doesn't work very well. Besides this, I'd still like to know how to change a character's class to a locked one for class advancement purposes, but the first question has priority. Please do tell me anything you know and thank you.

  3. @Ryoku: > O.o it didn't? …. but ... but... but.... that's when i got rid of the "g" on mine >.< I don't think it works, I'm pretty sure I did everything right, I double checked and I even tried several times. |:

Help with that, anyone? So, I still need help with the first question please, and Ryoku, what you told me to do to change the "g" didn't quite work. D8

  6. So, hi there. I have a few questions I'd like a little help with: * Is there a maximum class number? * How do/Can I change someone's class? I'm trying to make a Pokémon game. If someone reaches a certain level I want to give them a class advancement to a locked class, or, in this case, let them evolve. * I changed the GUI so that Gold: is called something else, but "g" still appears after the amount. Help with that, anyone? Thank you for any help.

    Character Creation

@Robin: > Go to frmMenu, find the character creation container, bring it to the front of the form, set the gender options to visible = false and change the caption on the class label. Thank you kindly.

    Character Creation

Might be a stupid question, as I'd imagine it's someting simple, but the only experience I have with VB6 was adding Alatar's quest system and that NPC level one, so yeah. Anyway, what I'd like to ask is how to change the character creation screen so that gender isn't an option and maybe change the name "Class" to something else. Any help is most appreciated, thanks.
  9. EDIT: Okay, so I found the problem, and now I feel dumb. EDIT3: Fixed it again. Sorry, it was my first time using VB6 so it took me a while to figure everything out.

    Class Changing

@lel: > Really "Now?" > I don't know if you just put two and two together, and some how got equals "Mystery Dungeon ones," found some info I never heard about, or if you simply miss worded and didn't mean an actual official Pokemon game. I'm pretty sure EO had nothing to do with any official Pokemon game… I meant "now" as in "so", note the comma. And I mean fan-made Pokémon games in the Mystery Dungeon format, not the official ones, lol. Thank you kindly for the tutorials, I'm sure they'll help me a tonne. :D And yeah, it is possible to do it with paperdolls, though I'm aware it'd be rather limited.

    Class Changing

Hey there! (Duck yeah, my first topic.) So, I did a quick search around the forums for class change edits and it didn't go so well. What I mean by class change, as you probably guessed, is a system that allows a character to change appearance, maybe get a stats boost and new skills, I don't know. I guess what would be an evolution in one of the many monster games out there such as Pokémon. Now, I realize Pokémon games HAVE been made using EO, namely Mystery Dungeon ones, so I was rather curious to find out how the evolution system works in those, for a project I'm working on using EO. I suppose evolution in Pokémon could be done using paperdolls too, but still, I'd like to know for sure. My apologies if this is the 2093975084th question topic on this. o.o All right, thanks a bunch for any help. Oh yeah, I'd like to note I do have VB6, even though I haven't quite figured it out just yet.
