  1. Because you're lazy, I assume. A compiled version with everything is only good for "noobs" if they want to be "noobs" forever. Regardless, and as DimenXion already told you, there are versions with a lot of these functions included in the Custom Versions section.
  2. Probably would've been easier to just try again. I followed the fix and it worked just fine. Remember to always read the other posts too and not just the topic, since fixes are sometimes posted without the OP being edited. Don't remember if that's the case here.
  3. You create an account on No-IP and then create a domain that will redirect back to your account and the IP set on it. That way, if players have that URL as the IP in config.ini, all you have to do is update your IP on the website (or download the client, which does so for you) when it changes so the site keeps redirecting their connections to you.
  4. You can't make any prominent changes (like what you're trying to do) to your game without VB6, so worry about getting it first. After you have it, I don't think there are any up to date tutorials on housing systems in the Tutorials system, so you might have to either do it yourself or find someone who can help you with it.
  5. Hey there everyone.

I've been playing around with Guard NPCs, and I'd really appreciate if someone could help me out with something. I'd like to make it so that they can just stand somewhere without moving but still chase after passing PKers rather than walk around. Maybe even choose between the two options, I don't know. Or I guess it could be done with a sort of NPC Avoid tile that doesn't stop them if they have a target. I don't know which would be easier. Can anyone give me a hand with this? Thank you for any help.
  6. @Justn:

    > That's just kibbelz freaking out cause someone pointed out a bug in his tutorial he did the same when someone found a bug in his zelda grass mod. Anyways this still works great for items other than currency. =)

I remember this. I think it was SpicyWolf or whatever.
  7. What. Well, that's interesting considering all of the default sound files are .wav and they play just fine, as well as most other .wav files I have added. o.o

EDIT: I resaved them as .wav on an audio editing program and they work now. Thanks for the suggestion Carri and thanks for replying, guys.
  8. What I do is keep a grid template with rectangles alternating between two colors, then use an image editing program that supports layers (Paint.NET or GIMP, usually) and position the sprites on a layer over the colored squares. Then I just color in the empty space on their layer a single color and save it as .bmp to the sprites folder. o.o

    If that's what you meant.
