  1. You know, sarcasm will get you no where in life. If you're trying to prove some point, it's not working. Cause honestly you're embarrassing yourself in my book. What's the point in that second map anyway? It hurts my eyes.
  2. @Eltony:

    > neh maps are copies of the terrain O: this person copied some terrain that looked like that and well that how it is…

That's beyond the point. I'm saying the map doesn't look natural, more like a few tiles throws together in a random order.
  3. @Düsk:

    > I wasn't talking layering wise, I was talking position wise. Obviously theres skin and muscles and sinew and shat between the two, else you'd be able to pick your face off your head.

    > And honestly, I know this probably isn't going to be going into a game, but if it is the players are gonna be staring at it for MUCH longer than 10 minutes.

    @Düsk:

    > Regularly, eyebrows go on the top ridge of your eye sockets, not on your forehead, except when the person raises their eyebrows.

    That sounds more like layering.
  4. @Eltony:

    > lol i like it i mean its nature anything could happen there could be tons of same kinds of grass and tress and those post some one must off added to protect the tree lol and nature is not organized

But maps are organized. If you just throw in a bunch of tiles in a map it's going to look like shit. That's the brutal truth.
  5. @Düsk:

    > Regularly, eyebrows go on the top ridge of your eye sockets, not on your forehead, except when the person raises their eyebrows.  For the most part you can look at any pictured or realistically drawn face and this will remain true.
    > The way you have it, the eyebrows are crawling up the forehead, making the character look like it wants to eat your face with the combination of raised eyebrows and wide smile.  Even though the eyes are bigger, the top of the eyebrows should line up with the top of the ears.

So you're saying that humans don't have skin in the middle of their eyebrows and their eyes? -_-
I honestly think the eyebrows are fine. I kind of see where they are coming from, the edge of the eyebrow is lined up with the top of the ear. But not enough to be noticeable unless you sit there and stare at them for 10 minutes.
  6. You used too many of the little bunches of grass, it makes the map look crowded and unorganized. The wooden poles make no sense in the upper right. You need to use a wider variety of tiles. Different types of trees or bushes would be nice.

Just think of it like this, when you see nature, do you see the same things over and over in an area? No, everything is different in nature. There are a lot of RPGXP tilesets, use them all if you have to.
  7. Okay to get started, I don't want any obvious solutions. Trust me, I have tried just about everything I could think of to fix the problem. I have been around longer then you would think, and I know my way around the EO code but I have never encountered this error before.

This is a vanilla copy of EO too, so don't go saying I messed up the code or runetimes, I re-installed both.

    The menu.

    The game.

I have tried re-installing both the runtime files and using a completely vanilla copy of EO. I didn't change any of the code what so ever. I tried manually fixing the problem by going in and moving the GUI around but it quickly finds a way to switch back to this annoying arrangement.

If anyone has a logical explanation to this, please share.
  8. I think the website it alright. The logo is a bit bland for my taste but I guess it's better then overdoing it. The site looks really clean and is easy to get around. Good job Lenton.
  9. The letters on the GUI buttons look a little messed up a choppy. Other then that the game looks great so far. I kind of want to see a video or something, just to make sure that the graphics are not the only good thing in the game. x]

I'm really curious about the sprites too.

    > Never, ever put 'Online' in the title.

That was the joke. I hate games that just take a normal word and put online at the end and say "ITS A GAME".

You need to give more information on your game if you want a real name. Make it relate to the story, or the concept your game is based off of.
