If you go into the src folder client side is there a frmMain.log file? If so what does it contain inside?

I really like the layout of the 2nd screenshot, however the chat seems out of place due to the rectangle gap beneath it. So if you could think of something to sort out that I think it would look pretty good, but that is just my opinion. -
I believe you click edit on the first post and then there is a option to change it.

Are you still looking for a programmer? If you are what engine are you using as you said the programming language is vb.net and the only engine I know of in vb.net is eo.net developed by Jcsnider.
Also how far is the project in development? and how much has been done? -

In vb6 go to Project > Components. and make sure you have the following ticked:
Microsoft Rich Textbox Control 6.0
Microsoft Tabbed Dialog Control 6.0
Microsoft Windows Common Controls 6.0
Microsoft Winsock Control 6.0 -

I do not think there is a tutorial out there, what version of eclipse are you using?

If you want a transparent gui over the game screen you are not going to be able to do this using pictureboxes

Even if you did it that way it would still have the colour of the pictureboxs background behind it. So no it would not work.
