MLP is just a good animation. Whilst the old MLP cartoons were dull, girlish and shallow, the new MLP is funny, interesting and well-written and isn't actually feminine or silly. Watch it and you'll see that it's better than most cartoons about nowadays. -
If you use it as a logo, people will just steal it from there. No-one's likely to steal it anyway, if they did they'd more than likely be banned.

Your logo uses RuneScape's concept art. Big no-no. Plus your island is completely square - nothing is ever like that. There's too much empty space, too. Make it smaller.
And don't use RMXP tilesets. Make your own, seriously. -

After the illustrious times of the past, the world was low on resources. The wells were dry, the mine shafts empty and the animals were nigh on extinct. Villages turned on each other and hoarded food. Something had to give.
A group of prominent scientists assembled an starship from brass sheets and tanned hides. They set off for new worlds and eventually found a suitable, happier place. All technology was incinerated and broken up in an attempt to prevent the same fate that awaited those not aboard the starship.
Whilst digging into the ground for shelter, the miners discovered underground tunnels and networks. It's inhabitants did not take kindly to intruders - they captured and killed the miners, and a war between the two broke out.
The war raged for centuries until the dwindling natives took extreme measures - they unleashed an illness on the humans - it began to kill of a number of the infected, thus the healthy population sealed their ill husbands, wives or children in ghettos and waited for their eventual, inevitable death.
After five years, they opened the ghetto doors to bury the decaying remains of their loved ones - only to find a flourishing civilisation. The illness killed the mortal mind of the people, but awakened immortal, powerful undertones - and granted the power of Magik.
Even more conflict rose between the Magikaan, the humans and the natives, The natives protected their lands and wanted more. The humans built forts and tried to take all resources for themselves and the Magikaan would not use their powers to help others. After the ravages of war bloodily decimated the population, a shaky treaty was called between them. Society would be reformed between the races. Will you bring your people to strength and glory? -

That would be too hard to bevel - it's more of a parchment/writing font. I'm using Copperplate Gothic Bold. Shouldn't be too long now ;)

You shouldn't have wasted £25 on that. Just get Photoshop. You won't look back.

The background is too deep and glossy. They draw attention away from the game and they're a horrid colour. The text doesn't look right either - Try keeping things subtle, but good looking. You're not meant to be looking at the UI.

There is and it sucks. It made zero difference. Turns out I just had to update DirectX3D - it was an old version (Circa 2009) because I don't use my gaming PC often. Pretty happy with it now, though. I think I'm in love with the exploration elements. -

Okay, first of all, it doesn't look like you're putting in any effort. You want:
* Admins
* Programmers
* A server host
* GUI artist
* Pixel artist
Well what are you even going to do? Looks like you want to sit back and do none of the art, programming, hosting and the rest - and it looks like you've just thought this up overnight - you obviously haven't started it, all you have is some thrown-together maps from MS Paint.
Your story is awful - you have to defeat the dragon? That's hardly a story, and it's driving your character - what are you supposed to do after that? Where's the challenge? MMOs should not have storylines unless they are very well thought out, else they become dull after the main quest. In yours all you have to do is kill a dragon and the game's over.
You should take this WIP down or lock it until you actually have some work done on it. Don't expect to be bashing away server hosts, pixel artists and programmers with a shovel - in fact, don't expect them at all. -

Actually, MLP was made with families in mind. Lauren Faust said that it's aimed at family viewing - young girls can watch it for the ponies, parents can watch it for the humour and young boys can watch it for the overall entertaining animations. Her primary intention was to prove that "cartoons for girls don't have to be a puddle of smooshy, cutesy-wootsy, goody-two-shoeness"

People liking cartoons isn't weird. The fact that it centralises around ponies doesn't overrule the fact that it's a good animation and it's worth watching. If you don't like it then don't watch it, but don't female dog about it for no good reason.
I'd completely understand your point if it was the old MLP. FiM is nothing like the old version, though.
