I've had this too… Don't have any mods or anything. Just pure EO 2.3\. Just wanted to let you know you aren't alone. If I find a solution, I'll share it here for you.

Thank you so much! That's incredibly helpful! Players will just have to remember what their quests are, (or write them down) but this is so much better now! I started with EE 2.7 so I'm always impressed with how simple EO is to use now. :P Never learned to code or anything, really just mapped. Thanks again! that helps a lot!

Hello all,
Um, to put this plainly, I'm pretty much a total noob. I'm not bad at mapping, but I can't figure out how to add the player switches to the new event system. Let me explain what I'm trying to do:
I have an NPC that acts as a sort of lore/tutorial for the first level, and at level 10 I want him to say something different than he does before that, to give the players a kind of quest to retrieve 10 potions. What is the best way you can think of to make him react differently to level 10+ players, and what is the best way to make retrieval quests? I can't find the source to edit it, so if it involves source edits you'll have to explain where I go to do that.

I'm not on my regular computer… so I'm going to just comment here so I have a sort of bookmark so I can find this later. If this really contains both pets and quests... that's about all I need to get started!!! thanks so much!

So I can't just copy "Map1.dat" and paste it into the folder for EO? hmm… maybe it would be easier to copy my tilesets and redo it manually...

Hello, I am a beginner Eclipse designer, but I have been working with EE 2.7, and have around 100-120 maps that I need to convert to EO so I can update to the modern system, all I need to transfer is the maps, I will rebuild all the items and sprites. Can anyone please help? If I need to I can strip out all of the scripting on them so it's just the images. Will this be possible? Thanks in advance,

I added some graphics, but not many. and I added a few items…. it's mostly mapping, I have some 100 or so maps. If maps transfer then I can redo the rest of it pretty easily.

Okay I made a game in EE 2.7… but no one still gives help for it. Can I upgrade my game to Eclipse Origins, or will I have to start over if I do?

Okay I am fairly new to Eclipse, but I've been working using EE 2.7, and I have over 100 maps made, but now I need some scripts. I have neither skill nor time to research how to make them, and I'm sure they've been made before, so hopefully someone can help me.
I want a script for SKILLS (something similar to Runescape, but I just need a few)
I want a script for BOATS (I've seen this before but I can't find it again, your character can turn into a boat and sail around)
I want a script for a WORLD MAP (and just about anything will do)
And finally, I would like a script for SMITHING (again, like in runescape, making items into other items.)
If anyone is willing to help, please do. If not, then just ignore me. I am a college honors student making a game in my spare time, which is rather limited. Either way, thank you for taking the time to read this, and write any reply you make.
