I'm teaching myself vb6 and I think I may have found a better way to do this that should work. Still reading up on a few functions and then I test my theory.

Is there a limitation now to using the chat room or is this a bug that's still getting fixed?

I noticed that the forum is now called Exlipse 3.1 … Is this a hint that there may be a Eclipse event system 3.1 coming out soon??? If anybody has intell plz share  cuz if there is I will hold of on the making of a game and continue to try and master VB6

Dude here is a way to do it. Because your VX character set is only 3by4 and XP is4by4\. Take the charter you want out of the tile set into a new image. Then you must take the middle column of sprites from the character sheet and copy it before the 1st column. then re-size the hole image to the same pixel size as as the XP one. And your done. repeat these steps for every character you want to use.

Ok so i have my monitor at 1600x900\. I have made the games windows at 1024x768, do you think this might to be big for other peoples screens, if so what do you recommend and what is your screen size :) also do you find this layout ok, im still in the prossess of changing image design but i have moved everything to were i feel it should be. http://freepicupload.com/images/283Capture3.png xoxoxoxoxoxo

what is a trolop value.??? did it so there was no decimal and it didnt work. but i dont know what trollop is :)

just stick to the one that comes with the site, i spent a few days trying others and they all are buggy n shit. there is one out there that can support guilds and pets but i have yet been able to find it and try it out… it looks very similar to 2.3 but with the extra features. @Joyce ... do you know witch one im talking about? if so do you know were i can find a link for it... xoxox

hey :) i worked it out like 3sec after posting.. for some reason VB6 wouldnt let me manualy type the main screen size but it worked if i clicked and dragged the corner. seee… :P http://freepicupload.com/images/393Capture3.png btw. since i made the change every time i run it, windows goes into basic mode. would u know why?

The top says it all really. I want to know how to change the size of the hole screen to 1024x768 and i have played around a bit but cant do it. i can changed to the screen in witch u play in but not the hole screen :( any ideas on how to do it in VB
