  1. > Welcome to Origins! To make your map bigger, simply open up your map editor and hit Properties. There you will find how to make your map X and Y bigger. You should also notice Map Links in the top left of the Map Editor Properties. That is how you link maps together without having to make individual warps. As for the sprite issue, I'm afraid that's the issue with your sprite and nothing to do with the engine. > > As for sitting, you could add in a button that says "sit", and it would make your character turn into a "sitting down" sprite. Then, once you move, you would change back into your regular sprite. The only downside would be that you would have to deal with tons of graphical work. > > Hope I helped, and if you have any more questions, feel free to post! Ok thanks I've figured it all out. ~~Now is making the map bigger "boot settings"?~~ EDIT: nevermind I found it. Alright I'm sure I can figure out the details of sitting on my own. I just wanted another opinion. :3
  2. I downloaded Origin a few days ago and I've got pretty much everything down. I just have some problems. I Really don't know how to make a map bigger than what you can see in your screen. How can I make the screen slide a bit further in different directions? I couldn't find anything on this. As for moving to completely different maps, is there a easier way to go from, say, map 1 to map 2 without making each individiual warp for that area? I also have a problem with my sprites.. I pasted my custom sprites on a existing sprite sheet. When I walk to the left the left foot right foot sprites appear faster than the standing positions. It looks like my sprite is scooting along the screen. all the other sprites are fine, like walking right, forward and back. And last but not least, I would like to make them be able to sit. I've looked everywhere for tutrorials but I can't find any.. Sorry to be a bother. I really love eclipse though, it's awesome!
