From the rumors going around the Xbox One does seem to have some flaws, but we don't know most of the stuff about the PS4 as well so we can't really compare them.
In addition people will always feel more comfortable with one console or another even if there is no specific reason. -

The parts circled in red are errors, you are using diagonal tiles to show the cliff is going in / out and then for the last tile you use a flat / straight one.
For Pathways use this:

The Pathways are better.
I prefer the cave mouths of the first of the 2 pics second one just looks wrong and ugly. -
You can make games with almost any programming language.
We currently have VB6 engines and on C++ engine under construction in the site.

Looking good but the trees and shrubs don't fit the rest of the tiles in my opinion.
Increase contrast between the borders and the pathway should fix your problem I believe. -
I recommend Eclipse The Final Frontier, since it's pretty obvious you don't know VB6 it's a DX8 custom version with alot of features + It is being updated & worked on unlike EO 3.0.
