Can anyone tell me how to save a map/level so i can edited it at a later time.
I'm using 4.2.2 if that makes a difference.

can you remove the UI chat pannel and hp/magic bars when in the editor? it gets in the way when trying to lay tiles.

Have I even downloaded the right thing? I suppose to be creating a 2D environment for an assignment but all i can do is move a character about?
I'm feeling more stupid by the minute here. -

PRAISE THE LORD!! got it working!!!

^^^ this need to me made more known, this is what i was missing.

Hi Joyce,
1) I've downloaded the file 4.2.2, i can only guess that the library files are in there?
2) I can run it with admin permissions if that need to be done, but there's no restrictions to my knowledge, it's my computer.
3) Nothing seem to happen when I run the server, I'm not sure if its running in the task manager
The client launches, I am met with a black screen saying "Failed to connect to server…retrying, attempt 5/5". Covering this is a message saying "could not connect to game server, The servers may be offline, make sure the ports and address are correct, also be sure you have internet access"
I obviously have internet connection, but there is a blank list where I'm guessing the servers should be.
From here I can only click ok which takes me to the server option screen which is again blank with the options of New, Use or Delete. -

Not a clue what I'm doing wrong? Do I need anything else installed before the program will run? -

I've downloaded the 4.2.2 I am right in thinking that I am opening and allowing to run "eoserver" (which doesn't seem to be doing anything on my end) then run "eoclient" ?
I still receive the message "could not connect to game server, The servers may be offline, make sure the ports and address are correct, also be sure you have internet access"

Its just opening a blank server page saying:

Cant see any .exe file, got runtime installed

Hi Guys,
Very (very) new to all this, I've downloaded the Origins 4.2.1 zip file, Unzipped it to the desktop and now I'm left with 2 files; Client and Server.
got no idea where to go from here, can't find an installer, can any one direct me?

Message for train2game students!!
After have a frustrating time with assignment 5 (to install,run eclipse and design a level using alien program) I found this youtube vid to be extremely helpful. Its taken me all morning to download, unzip, install, delete, rinse and repeat :( until I followed this vid.
