    Ah alright then. By the way, could you help me with making a quest? I installed alatar's quest system but removed it after because I think it's better if you make the quests with writing scripts so you can make them exactly as you want. So I have a scripted npc thingy from tutorial where I can write the scripts, but I'm not sure how to exactly do it. Could you maybe give some basic code like if player has item then give item And I thought about a way to make kindof switches like in RMXP. Could this be possible with Ini files. Like when you start a quest it creates a ini file for the user which will never be removed and used for every quest. Like it puts 0 in the ini file when the player just started it and 1 when it is finished. And if you want to enter a place you can put for example a scripted tile there, if it is 0 you can't enter, if 1 you can.

    While I was browsing through the server source to see if I could find anything interesting, I saw in modConstants the max of all things. I also saw the max level = 100\. Will it cause my game to crash or go unstable if I change it 200?

    Yeah, problem is my graphics pack is RMXP. And I have no clue how the RMVX graphics and all work =/. So I can't import characters and tilesets. As from what I've seen I have no idea how those RMVX graphics work. I downloaded it and saw 5 small tilesets. Is that all RMVX includes or something? Because those tilesets, you can't do a thing with em. Btw, is there a way to make quests on CS:DE?
  4. Oh well, I found this quest system thingy on the tutorials section. But one more question, is there maybe a way to do it like that people can't leave a map or go to another specific map without having begun/finished a specific quest?
  5. There used to be couldwolf00's quest maker, I remember I could make it compatible with EO (I added scripted NPC option to eo), but the topic is removed. Could anyone give it to me if he still has it on his pc?
  6. Strength = Attack power Endurance = More HP Intelligence = More Mana Agility = I'm not sure Willpower = Not sure either. If I'm right nothing adds spellpower, IIRC there is a tutorial to add this.

    Got Visual Basic 6 installed (Got a old CD of it), EO installed, I found a way to make autotiles without actually scripting it, got the projectiles tutorial and found Npc scripting, item scripting and scripted tiles to use for basic things like quests, now I got all basic things it shouldn't be very hard to have all the simple things of my game done :).

    Oh well, I asked because I used RMXP graphics and it didn't work. Found out it worked with RMVX.

    I downloaded CS:DE, but there are no graphics. Only some brown square as graphics. Do I have to add them myself or can I get em somewhere?

    I wish I remembered eclipse before working on the RMXP game. I had just installed light radius and day night system lol. Oh well, I'll change it to a RPG. You are right, RPG Maker XP is designed for RPG's, not MMORPG's. I asked some other guys from another forum the same thing and they also said RPG Maker XP is really only for RPG's, so I'll continue with Eclipse :).

    Well, I've been thinking. They both have pro's and con's. For example I got a fully working online script for RMXP, you can make events etc. and mapping is a little bit easier. + It's easier to work with and installing things. On the other side it has bugs, updating it is very hard and people can easily hack it by decrypting it. EO has less bugs and all the interfaces etc. are better, and the online script is better. But cons are it doesn't have things like ranging system and autotiles and they're hard to install. Which one would you choose, EO or RMXP Online.

    Ugh well it's kindof annoying if I can't use autotiles, you need autotiles for like everything =/ Is there really no tutorial or anything on how to install them in your game?

    Hello, so I'm new to this program. I opened the client and compiled everything WITHOUT changing anything. It gave me errors? Just for almost everything. The first thing I remember was something like txtChat.text. Any way to fix this?
