  1. Hello Eclipse Community, it's been a while since I have posted here. I used to be an active member of the community back in the day. However, my life changed a lot and although I still visit the site sometimes, I rarely post anymore.

    But today I have come to post, for I am looking for an artist to work with me on mobile games. That is, Android and iOS games. A team of two along with the support of some of my friends in real life, we can make some neat games. 

    I'm not offering money and I'm not looking for a freelance artist. I'm looking for someone who wants to get their name out there. Someone who wants to use their creativity and skill to make something that can become popular. No, I'm not looking to make some petty flappy bird clone. I'm looking for an artist who will compromise with me, to create a unique and substantial game that thousands of people will play.

    My abilities are distinguished but limited by the lack of art. I have a couple friends in my life who can make some art, however they are not pixel artists and they are too busy in their lives partying and living their teen years that way. Good art inspires me, it triggers a chemical in my brain that makes me work harder. It fuels the determination that makes me want to finish games, and to show the world what we can create.

    You actually can't use them temporarily, or at all. Without Rory's permission. They are copyrighted, I suggest you remove them from the game before you release the beta test.

    The only person I got help from was you. Robin didn't help, ever other line of the 10,000 new lines of code was from me.

    Death, I'm sorry but you didn't program for nin online. You joined our team, did nothing, and then left. But you continue to say you programmed nin online.

    P.S. I sold my xbox to somebody else because you were too slow.

    P.S.S. The best programmer on eclipse is JCSnider and here's why

    1\. Head programmer for eclipse silver and gold

    2\. Isn't a lazy arse

    3\. Gets sh1t done

    4\. Knows eclipse's code like the palm of his hand

    5\. Saves people in their highest hour of need

    As for my argument on me being top 10, here's what I have to show:

    Base Engine: 28,462 code lines + 3759 commented lines

    Nin Online to date: 36,834 code lines + 4481 commented lines

    And I began work only 2 and a half months ago
  4. Looks good, i have the same system except it allows for 5 attackers, and at death of said npc, the attacker who has dealt the most damage of all attackers, gets the exp. If the damage is within a certain amount proportional to the npcs total health and the two players closely dealt damages, it scales the experience between that amount of players
  5. I think this topic is stupid. Eclipse 4.0 going closed source is exactly what this website needs, especiall when most people using eclipse nowadays are people who don't know how to use vb6\. It is good for them. If you want this engine to be open source, you should either code it yourself, or go learn a language if you can't..
  6. Trying to use this for NIn Online, but it wont update correctly. Do i package a values.ini file with my game installer? it seems to get deleted, so even when i reupload a new values.ini file, and a new client folder, it wont update…
