    Good point I guess :P All I know is MINA served me well when I used to do RSPS. Stable little bitch. But your right, I cannot judge it till I put it into action. God decision making is my worst aspect :/ Disregard this thread now I guess.

That stuff was done. But I did do the chat engine and movement + registration etc. It's really bland :P I'm guessing the java engine I'd be using is 100% more stable because Mina is freakin scary. But I don't know how stable Eclipse is cause I haven't really touched it yet. Besides I figure you'd know your creation best.

    Well if I'd be better off/more stable with Java IDK what to do. Origins is sexy so it's tempting me ever so.

    But what's the max via code it can hold? I doubt it will be popular but I'm still internally battling myself on java vs vb6. And yeah I'm afraid about bandwidth. I don't have enough to host between the 5 computer user's at my house. I'm thinking I might go vps if I do java. Can origins handle on a vps?

    So I sit in bed and wonder whether I should do Eclipse Origins or go back to Java. (I'll stay at this community no matter what, seeing as the Java one I was in banned me >_>) On Distributing, Java wins. On what I can do with it/how far/potential, Java wins. On ease of use, vb6 and eclipse win. But how bout stability? With the current MINA Networked structure (possibly netty) of a Java server 1000 Players is easy peasy on 4 gigs+ ram and a good processor. But I am relatively new to vb6 game engines and they're stability… So what would vb clock at? What could Eclipse hold on a standard quad core, 6 gigs ram rig :P

  18. And in reality you won't ever make it big on a 2d MMO. With all these super 3d games like Aion, or Titan's like wow it's extremely hard to take even a millimeter sized chunk of the market on a 2d MMO :/
